    Went from the MM blender to the MM blender 5. Bigger bowl was the reason.
    The biggest advantages of MM. Dishwasher Save and glass bowl. Hot soup is not a problem.

      Yes I love the glass bowl too! And I can totally understand why you changed to a bigger one - it’s so versatile, so being able to do bigger batches is amazing.

    I went from a Kitchenaid blender to a Vitamix. The Kitchenaid also will not handel ice, but the Vitamix will. Granted it is expensive.

      Interesting! What have been the biggest benefits of the switch would you say? I’ve not tried either of those brands so I’m curious to learn! Thanks for watching!

    Have you tried nut butters in the blender? Would like to see how that goes as my blender just died and I'm hoping this blender can make nut butters, smoothies, and mill some grains.

      I have and the result is amazing! The only downside is that you’re not really meant to run it for too long at a time (as it gets hot, smaller motor), so I stopped and let it cool a couple of times. But the end result is actually better in my opinion!

      Thanks for your response, I went for the Power 4 hoping with the bigger motor it will last longer on sale at the moment so I think worth a try :)@@TheFromScratchBody

    Was wondering how does one decide to upgrade to 1300W model from the current 1000W model?

    • @TheFromScratchBody
      @TheFromScratchBody  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Good question - so do you have a 1000W at the moment? Do you feel like there’s anything it can’t do that a slightly more powerful motor could do? I guess it depends what you use it for and how you feel yours is performing! 💕

    • @socencounter
      @socencounter 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@TheFromScratchBody Actually the opposite, I was using a 1300W one but couldn't feel the need for that extra power, so sent it over to a friend and currently waiting for the 1000W model to be delivered. My workload only requires the mill attachment; typically limited to grinding whole black pepper, dry ginger or nutmeg & was a bit concerned if the 1000W model couldn't do the job!? xD

    • @TheFromScratchBody
      @TheFromScratchBody  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@socencounteroh I see!! I think for what you’re describing the 1000w will probably be able to do the job - that’s only a guess on my part, let me know how it goes!

      @@TheFromScratchBody Thank you for the answer! So I had a question for you: If you do a dry run with your blender to setting "4" and keep the "PULSE" pressed, do you notice that it takes a few seconds (grim sound) before the blade starts to slowly spin? I found the same on the newer models of both 1000W and 1300W which is a pity. On my 5 year old 1300W old model when you touch the "PULSE", the blade spins instantly at full speed at once with a lot of power. This makes me think that on the newer models they might have reduced the "Torque" on that setting or is now using additional gears to achieve the same Torque which explains the delay in startup. Thoughts? :)

    i was looking at this because it was quiet mark approved and we have noise sensitive people in our household but it does not sound very quiet in your video? :')

    • @TheFromScratchBody
      @TheFromScratchBody  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I’d say as far as blenders go it’s quiet - certainly quieter than my previous one, and approved by my baby (now toddler) who is pretty much unaffected by it (other than wanting to touch it 😂). However it’s not completely quiet, and some ingredients make a loud noise at first, before they’re ground, like nuts, coffee beans etc… maybe I can do more of a neutral sound test with it when I get a chance to demonstrate! 🥰

    Great video! Have you tried mayonnaise in this?

    • @TheFromScratchBody
      @TheFromScratchBody  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thank you so much! Yes, I did try mayo - it worked for it, but to be totally honest I found the food processor a better option personally. It’s a bit better for the workflow of adding bit by bit for me, but saying that, I’ll probably try again and maybe I’ll get a better hang of it!

    So disappointing that not all the accessories come in glass versions as well. Don’t wanna blend in plastic given all the microplastics that come off into the food.

      Magimix has a 30 year motor guarantee in Australia. I think you can ask for replacing many time if one fails. Check their guarantee in your country.
