The racking unit you have is the exact same as what I use in our cool room at work! (I'm a Chef).
    Nice vid. 👍

Most Snails don't eat plants, they eat dead or dying leaves. I have ramshorns, trumpet snails and bladder snails in my planted tanks with no problem. People make the assumption that a snail on a plant is killing it. It the plant is likely already dying.

What size are your fry when you transfer them to a grow out tank? My rainbowfish are almost 2 months old in a 5 gallon. Still very small. I have a 20 gallon for my grow out tank.

Snails dont destroy the plants, its a common misconception. They only eat decaying matter of the plant, and actually produce waste that will eventually be used by plants as nutrition. Snails will only eat plants if you starve them and dont provide any other food. Hope this helps

I cannot actually use a filter in my grow out tank because its just a large bucket , but it has frogbit and duckweed cleaning the water and for water changes the rain will do that for me because it will over fill.
I'm keeping 3 baby guppies in it BTW and yes unheated but its the summer time and ill only keep them there until it gets cold outside so that i could give them away to a pet shop and supporting them and to help me because my guppies keep making unwanted babies and i decided to only have danios in my show tank because they wont breed unless i set up the right conditions for them unlike the guppies.
