Been maining this pad for a few months over pads like the lgg saturn and other control pads and honestly i always come back to it it just feels perfect for tac fps games my only issue is the price they've upped it recently and i really can't see it being viable at that price unless you know you're gonna love it since there's so much more competition at it's new price range

i feel like this mousepad has way too much tuck (on direction changes). It kinda makes it feel not free while not having that much kinetic friction, its kinda weird.

how would you compare it to the Artisan Zero? you touched on it briefly about it making up for your bad aim days a bit better but would be interested in a comparison

In terms of build quality there's no competition - Artisan makes the highest quality pads on the market (Poron base in three hardnesses, below surface stitching), but while the Zero is a "control pad" it's actually not that slow, and is a well balanced pad for all types of games - if you want to have a look at the Zero's speed compared to other pads on the market Viscose has a handy speed chart here: docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1Ix0RN4WDgRIn9uSUMy2smG_vWR3FTnZHgNpumChfHM0/edit?usp=sharing
With that said, the GSR SE Rouge is a fair bit slower than the Zero, which in general makes being precise with your aim a little bit easier (therefore covering a little bit better for bad aim days). The Zero is also not as smooth as the GSR SE Rouge, albiet not but very much but you might prefer a smoother feel.
For me personally, the Zero is a more comfortable pad, I like the XSoft and I don't have a problem with how squishy it is but YMMV (the Soft is also a little bit softer than the GSR SE Rouge IMO), but again you might like a more consistent feeling base, like the one the GSR SE Rouge has.
Both are solid pads, but if you mainly play tac shooters, I think you might find a tiny bit more performance out of a GSR SE Rouge. However, you might just simply enjoy a Zero more, with a more comfortable base and more premium feel (the Artisan does cost more after all).
      Hope that helps

@@nahhkkid thanks for the detailed comment. Much appreciated! I actually have an lgg Saturn pro in soft so I'll probably use that for tac shooters. It was a little slow for me for OW so it might cover the gsrse rouge better than the zero

I check your both videos about pads...what would you recommend.. the Otsu or this one?

What are you looking for compared to your current pad and what do you think your preferences are? Maybe that can help you make a decision based on what my reviews and other reviews say about new mousepads and direct you towards something you will enjoy.
They're two different pads for different purposes imo. If you mainly play a lot of csgo and val maybe get the gsrse or artisan zero for more control. If you play games like apex or like something faster than the average pad maybe the otsu if you like a little bit of texture or the energon pro or Raiden if you like something smooth.
If you want a safe bet that can do it all, I would maybe still get an artisan zero in soft or any of the similar pads that have come out since (like the Saturn pro, Pulsar es2). Even though these pads are on the control side of speed, they will probably serve you well enough for everything.

@@nahhkkid hey, at first thanks for this answer. My Maingame is csgo... i check many reviews from the Artisan-Zero but for this price i dont know... you prefer the soft more than the xsoft? ... is the black one "better" or the same like the orange?.

@@dreamy6340 I think soft is better all round, a little bit more consistent, XSoft will have more stopping power but you might not like having your mouse push into the mousepad if you are more heavy handed. XSoft is very comfy to use though. The orange is the same as the black, there isn't a difference.
I think if you're using something like a QCK Heavy, that's a perfectly fine mousepad if you don't have any issues with it. Having an Artisan is nice but it's not like I play wildly better on it because it's a mousepad.
But from a value perspective, I would say an Artisan is for sure expensive but not a bad value, the mousepad definitely delivers from a quality standpoint. They feel premium and last a long time. But maybe newer pads like the zero with similar quality have come out in your region that are a bit cheaper? Like the Pulsar ES2, Endgame Gear EM-C, Lethal gaming gear Saturn Pro (if that is in stock). All would have great build and be solid options for CS.
Since you mentioned CS, I definitely still consider the GSR-SE Rouge. It's a little pricey but it's very well suited to CS, even though the other pads have better build.
This is my opinion from my experiences so you might not agree but I hope it helps.
