Quite interesting to see the 7700 having significantly lower fan speed due to its lower temperature.
From my experience these GPUs both have noticable coil whine(I'm quite sensitive to coil whine) so I guess upgrading to a 7700 for noise redduction is pointless.

I have XFX QICK 6750 XT and there is very little coil whine unless playing a particularly taxing game, like Alan Wake 2 on Ultra. But even then it's not that bad you and you can't hear it over the game itself. Dunno about other models.

@pratishahn I mean, depends on the use case of the user. Sometimes, heat efficiency and noise levels are the absolute king above all else. Big time. Now, The 6750xt runs hotter than this card, on average, with fans that spin like 3 times as fast...that's gonna be quite loud in comparison. It's a badass card, I agree.. but the point still stands this sumbitch runs cold. Damn cold, lol.

Hi, I have a desktop with a 1660 super and I'm going to upgrade. I have a 144hz monitor, and I'd like to play at least Apex Legends 144 fps at 1080p.
I'm not sure which of the 2 cards I should buy, at the moment I have the RTX MSI 4060 8GB for 320 Euros and I have the RX 6750 XT for 360 Euros, I've decided to order the AMD, but I haven't paid for it yet.
I've never tried AMD, but they say that this MSI card gets very hot and consumes a lot, but I don't mind the consumption part.
I don't intend to play very heavy games, I just play Apex, Valorant, Forza Horizon 5
    What's your honest opinion?

if you want to play games at just 144hz in 1080p you dont even need a card this good you could even go with the 6650xt and be happy, however out of the 2 options you should definately use the slightly extra money for the 6750 as it has more vram and more performance in general. Its allways a good idea to upgrade from AMD rx 6000 series to 7000 series, even tho in some cases the 7000 series is permforming lesser but AMD GPUs are so cheap and price worthy it wont matter. Unlike Nvidia upgrades u gonna need to pay doubble of what ur gpu

    • @Tomazack
      @Tomazack 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

Not enough difference in the mid-range of 6000 series to warrant the extra cost of the 7000 series, so your statement is not really logical. Unless you're planning on leaving the mid-range (6700-6750 xt) and going for 1440-2160p gaming with the 7800 XT or above, the upgrade isn't sensible. 7900 GRE is a good deal at the moment so that's a card to consider.

The same consumption is approximately (Tdp), three fans, the temperature of the Powercolor rx 7700 is much lower, and the fan speed of the Gigabyte RX 6750 XT is more than twice as high. Conclusion Gigabyte is complete crap, Powercolor is the standard of quality.

Sapphire always had been the standard of quality up untill now. Yes the nitro+ does exist but is way more expensive. The pulse card isn't that good to be honest. Yes its quiet but runs hotter too... Power collor started of as an underdog but look at it now... Their dominating the market purely because of the strongest cooling design and 1 of the least power draws and while staying so silent... Seems like power collor is now the king of amd nowadays. Gigabyte is bad in its cards but makes the best motherboards with the best vrms. So their not such a bad company as we think it is. Xfx did stepped up their game yet again too, making the card go run cooler then sapphire, but the fans are still noisier then power collor.

AMD has officially failed with the 7000 series. Every new card needs to be placed over the old cards. There is no difference in fps, but when it comes to price, there is a big difference! AMD definitely needs to change its architecture.

Question to @Jegs TV: 6750xt is 30-50€'s cheaper then the 7700xt where I live. Which card should I take to be safe for the next 5-10 years? (going to build a new pc soon with 7600 non x and ddr5 ram).

5-10 years? Get yourself something beefier like a 6950xt or 7900xtx or 4080. But if this is your price range i would suggest getting a 6800xt or 7800xt instead. The 16gb of ram will do you better in 5-10 years.

@@phil9079 then the 7700xt will be your next bet. But dont expect it to last 10 years. It ptobably could but you could be playing at low-medium on 1080p at best.

I only see this now but this is a tiny bit unfair if you look at the power usage and the temps. Gigabyte made a bad cooler I suppose. Hellhound is untouchable. A more fair fight would be hellhound vs red devil. Then again, availability is still a problem in every country so I understand completely!

If you're getting the basic Gigabyte version then yes, it will always be absolute shit compared to most other cards, same with MSI and ASUS. Their cheapest cards are not worth considering if you want less noise, better cooling and stable performance. MSI Ventus, Gigabyte Gaming OC and Asus Dual are cards well worth steering clear of. I have had experiences with all of them and will never buy again. Gigabyte Aorus, MSI Suprim X and Asus TUF/ROG Strix are solid versions to aim for.
