For those who have a spare 3.5 hours, here is our whole three-week trip around Botswana, stopping off at all the top spots and bucket list experiences. And yes, there are chapters! Here's the interactive map and blog with all the info, if you're looking to plan your self-drive adventure: asimplyfab.life/searching-for-the-best-of-botswana-self-drive-4x4-trip/
We also simply *LOVE* the Delta / Moremi inclusive of the Khwai area. Chobe has it's own attractions, but it seems too close to civilisation (Kasane town). Savuti is also wild and wonderful. The Delta is as wild as you can get it! AWESOME. Our most favourite place in the whole of Botswana Thank you for sharing
This is a lovely video.. I noticed that when going to Khutse you initially took the wrong road at Letlhakeng at the round about😂.. glad that you found the right way finally
@@philliproos6202 this was in March - very dry, very 🥵 (heat wave hitting 50°c). This made conditions pretty tough in the soft sand in the afternoon, and game viewing was difficult because of the heat. We also went in November just before the heavy rain season. Much better with temperature but then you could have trouble in the soft sand with rain (mud). So depends on your group, or if solo. Either way we had an enormous blast in Bots, it's such a great place to visit 😊👌. Maybe pose your question on Drivebots group on Facebook - they really good with ideas. Have a good time planning. (Btw we went with Ultimate Routes to help with planning and bookings. Got to recommend 👍). Thanks for watching 😊😃
Batswana should be made to pay these levies too and also fill the cross border forms like we are suggested to 🤮 (hope my maternal family sees this post) 😂 Just an added clarity that the 150 Pula vehicle insurance is valid for 3 months. 60 pula Road Transport permit is for a single entry while the 50 pula for a National Road Safety Fund (their RAF) and is valid for a year. You also pay the 50 and 60 pulas for a trailer at first entry with the 50 being valid for a year as well.
