  • Well here's part 2, I don't know what to expect anymore with this game, all I can do is press on.
Irithyll is the most drop dead gorgeous picture I've seen in gaming and it damn near resembles a painting, can't wait to do part 3.
Also need to work on a boss tracker, and maybe some interesting bit to the intro... not sure what to do yet. Next up is another Witcher video, followed by something?

I bounced off DS1 and 2 pretty hard the first time round. 3 was where it really clicked and I understood the design and got sucked in by the stellar world design.
Enjoying the series, nice to hear someone had the same experience as me playing this damn near perfect game

Thanks for the kind words dawg, I'm glad you dig it, I love making these videos :) A little sad it'll come to an end, but excited to play the rest at least.
As for DS1 and 2, I haven't played them yet, guess I'm committed to going in reverse order but I'm ecstatic to try them out. And yeah dude I totally agree, everything clicked for me the moment I started. Coming off Elden Ring even there I was a little confused and used guides for certain bits, but everything in DS3 flows so naturally. Found a ton of secrets on my own, shit makes me feel proud when I see a wall and think to myself "yeah thats fake" and I end up being right. It's made me re-evaluate games, I used to look at open worlds as peak game design... forgot how mystifying and rewarding a fully-crafted thought out map can be.
Currently I've played enough to make P4 and P5 of this, so I'm stopped up at the first DLC. Waiting to get those parts out before continuing on, but I am fucking excited to see what these have in store for me, gonna be my first Fromsoft DLC experience.

really loving the content dude, keep it up! also i agree w your take on the games feel, its very decrepit and oddly comforting at times. Fromsoft really made it see that this was the end of the trilogy and the “age of fire”

Thanks a bunch Ketamine, I certainly will, and yeah I agree the atmosphere is so many things in itself... I haven't felt compelled to discuss that yet, but just looking at Irithyll's outskirts I'm sure it'll come up soon.
I'm looking forward to playing the rest of the trilogy, DS3 is my first Dark Souls. Played and 100%'d Elden Ring but this game is so much different honestly, I can only wonder what the rest are like
