My Journey Into Dark Souls 3 - It was There, Darkness Held the World

- Took me a while, but it's done. Also! New intro! I think it's pretty coooooool.
If you're curious, yes, I saw the end credits, and... I have stuff to say, and feelings to spill, but now's not the time to roll the credits.
As I've said, there'll be 7 episodes total, the last two spanning the DLCs, Ashes of Ariandel and The Ringed City. It's been a long journey, and watching the first few episodes its kind of crazy to consider how long its been, not like its been years but from 100 subs to 300, months of time, and a slew of videos in-between.
Closing the book on this will be weird, but this isn't the only series of Journeys I'll chronicle. Obviously I can't do it for EVERY game, but for those ones that really tug you along and have something to make you consider and contemplate, they'll get this extra ounce of love. If you're a fan of DS3, I hope my bouts of nerdism at least speak to the splendor of this game in your mind, and if you've never played DS3... well, you should. Of course, I'll make a video why you should, but not yet.

I've really been enjoying this series of videos. Awesome writing and editing. Even though I've watched so many playthroughs and challenge runs / speed runs of DS3 already, I still felt like I was re-living a first playthrough, which is such a treat.
That's my whole goal with these, memories of my first time through so I never forget. Glad you dig it Turtle :) this series is definitely my favorite to make
One of the reasons that dragonslayer armour felt a little squishy is because you were kinda running meta for it lol. It’s rather weak to frostbite and you were procing with the Irithyll sword then resetting the meter with fire so the sword could proc again

Excellent writing and narration, you could do a great job a writing a novelization of this game. The princes are my favorite boss in DS3. I wasn’t sure you would beat the final boss but you did it. Looking forward to your coverage of the DLCs. Sub-fucking-scribed.
Thank you! Maybe I'll do some crazy long retrospective when I've chronicled all 3, but for now I've still got improvements to make.
Princes were soooo awesome, I really wish I didn't beat them so quickly, but I can't wait to see em again and again in NG+. Definitely the most striking dialogue in the base game and Lorian's armor is bad ass.
