This is really cool. It's great seeing one of my childhood games get a tas speedrun! This speedrun actually looks like it could be done by a person. Maybe excluding the first phase of the penguin fight and most of the Ultra Mashtooth fight, but overall, this looks pretty doable for a human!
Cryo noooooo.... dont even try to find out how it works cause i have no idea and you’re not even close to right. It only works close up cause it hits her the frame it spawns. Range doesnt make the shield stop always. Time doesnt always either. Its a huge confusing mess...

How optimized would you say this TAS is? If you don't mind me asking? Like any place you think could be faster or would some new ground breaking discovery need to be made?
Papes fight could be better cause i didnt realize how few hearts i had So could the ronk snips and trio fights but i dont imagine by much. The final fight i think could be improved a lot with good rng, but i couldnt find that rng This is probably garbage by TAS standards. Theres so many controls and stuff and its scary, but i still think i did a good job. Maybe 15 seconds from perfect optimization?
@@dracibatic2433 but that’s the thing, it shouldn’t be possible. You should automatically start with 10 hearts. Starting with 5 with a 10 heart Limit is impossible

2 things. 1. HOLY CRAP. That is the fastest time I have ever seen somebody do this. Some moves were impressive! 2. How fast were you spamming the Y button on the last part?
This is a TAS (tool assisted speedrun) he used an emulator and was able to say where Starfy goes and how he moves. This was not human, it’s a “theoretical perfect run” performed by computer

Its actually only possible to hit her from that close. any farther is... well... bad.
Dracibatic if you’re far away the shield also won’t come up, I guess it activates at mid-range but not really close or far

@@dracibatic2433 I was curious about how many hearts you had. Since you should be starting with 10. Were you using a modified rom?
