- This is my Tool-Assisted Superplay for Mario Party DS - Bowser's Pinball Machine.
Tool-Assisted means I played the game frame-by-frame and used save states allowing me to redo certain parts of the game until each part is perfect. I can manipulate RNG by wasting frames before hitting my dice block. This allows me to control such things as, what hex I get, where the next star location is and which minigame is selected. - เกม

Honestly, Mario Party DS has got to be my favourite in the series. Nothing tops its boards, minigames and story
The side-games are also really good and really fun!

Funfact, you can get a consistent result on the coin wheel in real time too since it's not RNG based. You will always land on the tile opposite to the tile you pressed the button on.

Actually in my opinion Mario Party Superstars & Super Mario party on Nintendo Switch & The N64 Mario party's are the absolute best in the series

I love the way you style on the Computer Players in all the Minigames. Especially Goomba Wrangler, that one was hilarious.
That being said, I can't help but wonder if the Warp Dice Block might be a tool worth looking into in a future MPDS run? With RNG Manipulation, it could theoretically allow you to end up on any space on the board at any time.

24:20 I don't know if that was with some purpose in mind, but, you could place the Star Hex in your back, with the intention to get some good items in the shop. Same with the Hex you place one square away. I... was expecting more flippers/Star Zone abuse with double dices, or cannoning to approach the star.

With this TAS mode, it looks funnily sassy, I'd love to watch the whole game.

I once got max coins on this map just by resetting each round until I got the max output from the coin multiplier roulette thing, but once I did that I did have the patience to try to optimize stars or anything like that afterwards.
These are crazy ngl, but I do have to wonder across the series which are the boards that are more difficult/rare to get stars.

Hey! How are you? I have a question about TAS how to use and download and it looks so cool to use. I want to use it on my games but cannot find a download. Can I use for any games such a TEKKEN 8 and DEAD OR ALIVE 6 and etc? And can I use it on both Player vs CPU and Player vs Player?

I remember destroying my ds games with action replay.
This was one of them. I remember trying all the board elements and soft resetting the roulettes and that 0-zone thing. It was never an ideal "Tool assisted speed run" but I picked the game apart instead of "googling" what happens here and what does this do?
Yes, the most wonderfully broken Mario Party. I remember the first time I played this board a CPU rolled a 10, got the coins and a turn 1 star. Also the wheel spin game doesn’t even require TAS to win and x5 your coins
I guess, since we can’t pirate this game, being able to TAS it is the next best thing

I really like this board because of how easy it is to earn a lot of coins from playing Wheel of Wonder so I knew this was gonna be especially good! But the Zero Flame has got to be the WORST thing ever to get in the Mario Party series!

How Mario Party should've ended if I actually did the story mode.
How do you manipulate RNG in Mario Party DS? I thought there was no way you could manipulate the CPU’s dice rolls in this game.
RNG manipulation is very awkward in this game. One way of manipulating the CPU dice rolls is by wasting frames before hitting your own dice block, but the problem is that you can't control all of their dice blocks individually like you can in other Mario Party games simply by pausing the game.
This is the exact reason I wanted to go last each turn is so the CPU dice rolls can be manipulated first and then I can focus on my own turn since I had to waste a bunch of time before hitting my dice so I could control star locations, hex pickups, star hexes (so I could get 3 each time) and minigame selection.
For the most part I didn't bother RNG manipulating the CPU player dice rolls, I just let them do whatever as long as they didn't screw up my planned route. There were a few times I had to exit the game after the minigame just to change what numbers they would each roll but I decided to cut those parts out just to save on video length.
@@BeastlyN64 Thanks for letting me know! I was trying to TAS this game myself but was really confused about the CPU’s dice rolls. And I’m using DeSmuMe for Tool-Assisted speedrunning this game instead of BizHawk.
I also used DeSmuMe for this TAS since I couldn't get the 100% save file download to work on BizHawk.
@@BeastlyN64 I don't even know why Bizhawk doesn't let neither one of us use a 100% save file to let us do whatever we want. But I will have to import my own save file from my 2DS to my PC if I wanted a 100% save file.
