I just found your videos. Great work, great pictures, very good music and perfect voice, beautiful country and a lovely Series 2A. I like your videos so much. Thanks a lot for these great moments with your Vlog, Sven from Germany
Very nice trip.... Wild country out there... Nothing beats the Landy.. I've lost out somewhere.. She is a Series 2, but has Series 2a fenders and Maltese Cross grill.. And you girlie isn't bad either, you can show her more ( and remember her sleeping bag ) Love it. Have a good one 👍🏻✌🏻👊🏻🇿🇦
Looks like an awesome trip, glad to see you got through - we nearly wrecked a Discovery in the crossing at 8:48. Got wedged between two boulders and ripped the mudguard and quarterpanel half off in the recovery. We later found out that it's actually not the recommended route through.
It’s often afterwards that we find out about the recommended route eh haha the boulder riddled river beds certainly test patience at times. Cheers for your comment and cheers for watching! Cya out there.
Greetings, thanks for the tour through the New Zealand countryside, it is still the best countryside on the planet, best regards from a ex ChCh lad now living in Melbourne
Absolutely fabulous lovely weather and scenery fab work with the camera on the roof was it fitted to a giro?the log fire in the end looked very welcome ,better than the old smiths heater in the series 2.,AIdan in Ireland 🇮🇪
Excellent. I have owned 5 Land Rovers.... 58, 60, 64. 767109 NADA ..( one of 500 made with a six cyl motor,) 1974.. anything after that was yuppie junk.
Sometime in early spring I think this one’s been in the edit queue for a while, the river was super low. Previous time we went in on a heavy rain warning in our Jimny and it was… eventful.
once you get around the corner and hit the bit you call the maze used to be a real good track up the middle but the last few years the river has washed it all away now i just stick to the true right of the valley is nothing to hard apart from the bit were you had to do a bit of track building .
Yea there’s some remnants of an excellent track, one of the charms of these places is that nature is boss, always changing. A fun challenge nonetheless the less but certainly one of the more punishing places for vehicles.

Hey bro, what time of the year did you do this trip? Only just recently?
Sometime in early spring I think this one’s been in the edit queue for a while, the river was super low. Previous time we went in on a heavy rain warning in our Jimny and it was… eventful.
@@foldinthemap hahaha I bet. Bought myself a 1993 hilux ln106... definitely putting this track on the list once I'm back down south
@@mattthorpe3031 Nice, A legendary truck like that deffinately needs to get down south haha!

Yep you’re onto it, it’s a series 2 with incorrect frontage. Something I might be remedying soon! Stay tuned some big news coming.
