Hi I would like to thank you for all your videos I’m diabetic and I am compiling a list of foods thanks to you that are safer for me Keep up the good work From Liverpool England 🏴
But the ones that most people drink have a ton more sugar. It would be more helpful to more people if you would test one of those. Thank you for all you do!
I agree. I usually stick to Kevita which is lower in sugar. I have yet to see one without any sugar. I thought sugar was needed in the fermentation process? 🤷♀️
@@insulinresistant1 Yes please do a video with regular kumbucha. I'm sure you can find a regular kumbucha (they have a lot of sugar though) at Walmart or another grocery store such as Kroger. There is GT's Synergy, Health-Ade, and Dr Brew seem to be some common name brands. Kevita is a little different because it is sparkling water kind of like how this Remedy brand is...the first ingrediant is carbenatwd water where I don't think it's like the other kumbuchas and fully fermented. But then again maybe having this carbonated water/kumbucha IS A GOOD CHOICE for when you want a sweet treat that won't raise your blood sugar! ❤
SUGGESTION: Salad I looked through all your videos and i didn't see one on a simple salad made from lettuce with other vegetables like tomato, onion, carrot, cucumber, etc., not with extra things like cheese, bacon, that would really alter the results. Just with a simple vinaigrette would be good.
So just to give you a heads up, the only true kombucha with natural accruing prebiotics that doesn’t have additives is a brand called GT. I would love to see you test that one. I make my own so it’s fresh all the time and I have also tested myself and have found that I can drink up to 8 ounces without it affecting my blood sugars too much but anything over that I’ll get a spike..
Thanks. Your videos impart a great amount of useful info in a user friendly format. I wonder if you would consider testing the alleged sugar-lowering effect of taking berberine with a meal --- maybe something like white sugar??
These are great, really informative. Are you Type 1 or Type 2? Could you do a video with sauerkraut, or maybe sauerkraut with sausage? I've heard sauerkraut (like kimchi) will help keep blood sugar and A1C under control.
WOW! All the kombucha I see contain about 15 grams carbs and 60 kcal/bottle. They all list sugar because the kombucha culture requires it to grow. Maybe that's why yours didn't taste so great; not enough fermentation?
Try testing out freezing bread before using it. The bread should be toasted before eating. There are reports that the freezing and toasting lowers blood sugar boost from eating the bread.
This is better and oh so tasty - Zipfizz isn't sold as a weight loss product, it is a healthier alternative to high-sugar, high-cal options like lattes and traditional energy drinks. Zipfizz contains only 20 calories, 2 net carbs and 0 sugar - that's pretty hard to beat! How many Zipfizz should I drink each day? Two servings are recommended.
Blood sugar spikes are in the medical category. And yes medical things will differ from person to person. Some people's cells are just starting to be insulin resistant. Some people are type 1 or type 2 diabetes. The guy's not lying. He is stating reality.
It's not about the calories. It's all about the sugar and carbohydrates that spikes up your blood sugar. You did a test on eating steak, which is high in calories, and your blood sugar levels didn't even move.
Hi. Have you tried different t continuous glucose monitors? If so, could you do a short video on which one you like best? Or maybe you're done the video already? Thanks!! ❤❤
I had saw a video where you said you was going to test the difference between liquid apple cider vinegar apple cider vinegar gummies and apple cider vinegar pills so I'm checking with you to see if you ever did that video I can't seem to find it if you did cuz you do that please
But this obviously isnt your typical or normal kombucha. All kumbucha is made from fermented sugar. I used to make homemade kumbucha and I fermented the teas and sugar at home. I need to go look up the ingredients to this one. Maybe I can find a way to make a sugar free kumbucha at home again for my diabetic husband and the rest of my family to enjoy?
Yeah, well, I thought the science was still out on whether we need to "feed" our "microbiome". But I've tasted kombucha before. It's like drinking a bottle of sour smelly watered-down vinegar. Yum.
My mother eeat junk food whole life, she is 75 years and not ill at all , so what is problem with insulin spike -it will come to normall level with time
Now read the verses that really matter! EZEKIEL 18:20 20 The soul that sinneth, it shall die. The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son: the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him. DEUTERONOMY 24:16 16 The fathers shall not be put to death for the children, neither shall the children be put to death for the fathers: every man shall be put to death for his own sin. EZEKIEL 14:20 20 Though Noah, Daniel, and Job were in it, as I live, saith the Lord God, they shall deliver neither son nor daughter; they shall but deliver their own souls by their righteousness. PSALM 49:7 7 None of them can by any means redeem his brother, nor give to God a ransom for him:
And science does not back that it's good for you. Those are claims made and if you read them they usually say it may be good for you. Not that it is good for you. As I said the science doesn't back it.
5 calories but how much carbs carbs raise blood sugar i think your equipment is broken it spikes mine and all diabetics are not the same were a food spikes one person may do different to another
Thank you! Your work is so valuable for ALL of us since you don't have to be insulin resistant to suffer from damage caused by blood sugar spikes.
Some brands have a lot of added sugar so be sure to read the label
Will be posting more here. Thanks
Ginger and lemon and blackcurrant Kombucha are nice. Easy to make at home
I make ginger at home as well. Do you do a second fermentation?
Very interesting and informative 👍🙏
Hi
I would like to thank you for all your videos
I’m diabetic and I am compiling a list of foods thanks to you that are safer for me
Keep up the good work

Hi, I love your videos.
You're doing great bro
You have a wonderfully, informative channel😌😌
Just finished binge watching all your shorts. Truly fascinating video concept. You should do blood pressure as a test as well!
The Remedy Mango & Passionfruit is delicious 🤤
Can you please try Cusco’s meal, thank you.
Thanks for checking that out. I’ve been curious about it.
Could you try a more traditional kombucha that doesn’t use alternate sweeteners? Health Aid brand is a popular one.
Do you know if they have that here in Canada?

Curious what generous heavy cream in coffee does.
This is helpful. I just started trying this and it’s so good for my stomach, but I was wondering about blood sugar.
Try testing out freezing bread before using it. The bread should be toasted before eating. There are reports that the freezing and toasting lowers blood sugar boost from eating the bread.
The ginger flavor is awesome
I drink this brand every day! Thank you for testing this item.

I made homemade kombucha, lots of sugar. How do you make it without sugar?
Could you try Whole Milk Plain Kifer, please?
Can you please do cauliflower 👍🏻
Can you test dates please!
Don't recallseeing "no sugar " ones .
Curious how much sugar was used to make this bottle of kombucha.
It's not about the calories. It's all about the sugar and carbohydrates that spikes up your blood sugar. You did a test on eating steak, which is high in calories, and your blood sugar levels didn't even move.
Can you also do a Zevia soda? Thanks!
Please do red lentil pasta
Can u please test health aid kombucha and keto products in the market like ice creams, pasta etc
Can you please do mich ultra or any kind of low carb beer
Although thought to be healthy, Kombucha is generally loaded with sugar and carbs. If you could recommend a brand?
That's your job to read labels and figure it out.
I wonder how they make it without sugar, cause you need sugar to be able to feed the fungus
Hi. Have you tried different t continuous glucose monitors? If so, could you do a short video on which one you like best? Or maybe you're done the video already? Thanks!! ❤❤
Do a fruit & veggie smoothie with cinnamon to see if it helps.
Not all kombuchas are equal.
Kevita has 16g carbs and is wide key available
I’ve never seen a kombucha that had only 5 calories
I agree. I do stick to the Kevita ones that are under five grams of sugar. It’s still not great but better than the ones that are 18 grams of sugar.
Can you do poppi soda?
Can you please do kefir water?? Please.
can u do coconut water no added sugar?
How about dates😮

Please do eggs
Lol that shouldn’t have an impact on blood sugar😂😂maybe just a 3-5 mg/dl rise or 0 even
It would be nothing
5 calories of anything won't have much impact on your blood sugar
What’s Kambuchs ? Beer ?
Fermented fruits

I used to make my Kombuchas until I started keto.
Starbucks coffee
The viewers Guinea pig!
Kombucha contains some alcohol I think
My mother eeat junk food whole life, she is 75 years and not ill at all , so what is problem with insulin spike -it will come to normall level with time
Unfortunately, it’s an acquired taste. And I will never acquire it😂.
man up a little dude... it's great to mix with sparkling water
@@DITTOE 😂
I tried Kombucha once, never again. I would approximate it tasted like rancid racoon urine.
Now read the verses that really matter!
EZEKIEL 18:20

PSALM 49:7
7 None of them can by any means redeem his brother, nor give to God a ransom for him:
The drink of those with pronouns. Wouldnt touch that if it could save my life.
Sure, it's good for you if you can get past the nasty taste. No thank you...
It tastes good though...
And science does not back that it's good for you. Those are claims made and if you read them they usually say it may be good for you. Not that it is good for you. As I said the science doesn't back it.

Individual results may vary. That statement says, oops, I am lying bitches.
