I work with 1/72 scale. Some techniques can transcend various scales. I like the subtle scratches, and the dabs of wear and dirt. Really makes it look more of a battle wagon than a museum piece. I have five StuG IIIs primed and awaiting paint. This is good inspiration. Excellent work Mate.
Very helpful video thanks. Which type of shrubbery are you using from Green Stuff World please? Is it the tall shrubbery or another type? Have subbed and would like to see more from you on both 20mm 1/72 and 15mm, thanks.👍
This looks great! Where do you find your reference photos? I’m trying to find what the 9 or 10 SS vehicles looked like in Arnhem and I’m not having much luck aside from black and white photos.
Cheers dude 👍 🙌 I'm chuffed you like it. I got my reference picture from this site: www.wargames-romania.ro/wordpress/articles/tankcamo no idea what they use as reference but it's a good browse nonetheless 😄
It looks amazing im gonna try the same approach on my 1:35 tamiya stug!
Thank you buddy, so glad you've found it useful and you like the finished result ;)

Thanks so much buddy, I'm so glad you find this useful even with all your experience 🙌
@@paintingpanzers I need to break down and start using my airbrush. I was telling my son about your channel and this video
This is really good. Pin wash is the way to go. Thanks for showing all the colors you use and the techniques
Thank you so much buddy :)
Fantastic video! It's radically changed my approach to painting WWII tanks.
Thank you so much buddy, I'm chuffed youve found this useful 🙌🙌

Nicely done man!👀👍
Thanks a lot mate :D :D
When I do german WW2 camo it is ALWAYS historically accurate. Unfortunately no picture was made of the vehicle/its camo. 😉
Great work.
Hahaha thanks mate ;)
Absolutely stunning!
Thank you buddy 🙌
Lovely work on that my dude.justin
Thanks a lot buddy 😁😁
1/72 wow 🙂 love it
Thank you so much 😁😁
This was a really cool build. I just recently came across some 28mm 3D printable tanks and hope to start working on them shortly. You've been subbed
Woohoo thank you buddy and I'm so glad you liked it. I'll be sure to check out your work tomorrow ... 28mm tanks are bloody daunting to me!
Wow great job looks great
Thanks buddy 🙌🙌
nice video, love your color choices
Thanks a lot buddy 😎
Awesome stuff mate, I love it
Thanks mate 😎😎
Try tamiya extra thin cement, alot better for plastic then ca...
haha yeah I do have that, I was just being lazy ;)
Wow, that shrubbery looks great! I tried to make it, and it looks awesome but it dried out and is super fragile. What color of the GSW stuff is this?
Thanks a lot mate, it's the light green version from memory 😊😊
After all is painted and detailed do you ever use a matte coat all over to dull it down?
I always finish with a spray of Tamiya Flat Clear which naturally removes the gloss.

Thanks a lot buddy. Plenty more smaller scale Panzers in the works 🙌 I'm almost certain it was the light green version 😊

Harder and Steenbeck 2 in 1 evolution with a .15mm needle and nozzle (purchased separately)
What colour and brand were the shrubs?
It was towards the end of the video buddy. Greenstuffworld Light Green shrubbery 😉
Keep furthering God’s own scale #20mmrocks
Haha I'm on it boss 😉
