This might be a weird idea, buy I'm kinda tempted to convert up some German (ww2 era) tanks to look like they've been corrupted by the energies of the Warp from the Warhammer universe. Basically the idea for this is "what would happen if the Nazis had discovered the Warp and fall to the worship of Chaos". Just a thought really
You might want to specify which vallejo colour with a number since they can have more than one paint with either very similar names or even identical names from the same or different vallejo ranges.
Thanks! It's a much maligned technique, that people wrongly thing only belongs in the 'training wheels' or 'beginners' toolkit. It is a useful skill/technique to have in your back pocket, and once you know the effect it achieves and how it works, it can be applied smartly to any situation it's well suited for.
I am building a late war bolt action German winter army, and was wondering how to paint white camouflage to a tank that has a panzer yellow undercoat. Is this something your videos will cover?. Also, AWESOME video.
There are specific “winter wash” products provided by Vallejo and AK Interactive. Absent buying a specific task product, one may create their own winter wash. There are existing YT videos on the creation and application of these winter washes.

Great idea!
Very helpful video! I think dry brushing is underrated as a painting technique

thanks great video, my first model here and i was hoping to learn how to do basecoat but you did not cover that. The rest of video is awesome. 😁
You’ve nearly slap chopped it. If you added some contrast or speed paint…. 😊

Thanks - It'll be something I'll cover eventually, but I don't have an easy and reliable way of doing it just yet!
Can you add a shade as well and then drybrush again on top of the shade?
sure can!
