Hola ! Samuel, Audrey y Daniel !! Que lindo video para esta tarde calurosa de domingo en Buenos Aires (36 grados). Se disfruta mucho viendo sus videos ! Ah ! A veces el vino hace travesuras 🍷 Saludos desde Buenos Aires !!
My wife daughter and her boyfriend went to Bueno Aires many years ago for 10 days during their winter. Loved the food there, wish we went to Wine country.
Whats not to love about the wine and meat and beautiful sunshine. I really love the wines south of the equator! I dont know why but they have a nice memorable taste to so many i have tried. Great video and a great day! Wow cheers! So empanada jealous! Haha that was a killer burger Sam!
Mhh, I haven't made deep fried empanadas for a long time. This weekend it will be the time to make them. It is snowing here in the middle of Germany a little bit - so some piping hot, crispy empanadas will be perfect together with some lovely wine from Argentina. Dreams of past summers...
Wow, this kind of yours you did are the ones I enjoy the most! Great wine, delicious food! I can't say which one was the best one, both places you visited were just great! hola samuel y Audry . Gracias por compartir esos lugares maravillosos que han hecho que cada dia me enamore mas de canada. Argentina tambirn me encanta . Les mando saludos desde venezuela y les seguire acompañando en,esa aventura hermosa que estan compartiendo y que me hace soñar .
Hi love your videos. Just found this one. I discovered Malbec wines on a recent cruise and fell in love. I would really like to visit this region of Argentina having only been to southern Argentina many years ago to visit missionary friends.
I have to admit I watch your videos for looks at the towns and cities you visit. I've noticed in a couple of videos you've done on Cafayate that you focus on the wineries and not much on the town itself. Pretty much the same with other travel videos from others. Same with Tafi del Valle. Safe to say those towns aren't especially attractive? I've been looking a smaller places that aren't too far from bigger cities. Tilcara looks great but not sure I want to live at that elevation. But it's close to Jujuy. Love the look of San Martin de los Andes but it's pretty expensive and quite a ways from anything sizeable. Trying to talk myself into Buenos Aires but love the mountains. Hoping your Bariloche guide will convince me to try it. Thanks for putting up with my questions!
You're right, we didn't spend a whole lot of time filming around town. Most people come to Cafayate for the wineries and the nearby scenery (Quebrada de las Conchas, Garganta del Diablo, Mirador Tres Cruces). That being said, the town is fairly small and walkable; you have a classic town square with a cathedral, lots of restaurants, wine hotels, a wine museum, etc.
This part of the country has a desert climate with low rainfall and humidity. We visited in the springtime and had pretty nice weather, but it can get quite chilly.
Argentina wine was distinct. 8 out of 10. Many places you can say are like somewhere else. South America I felt was very different region to region and different then anywhere in the world. If you really think about it they are kind of off on there own in the world. From the north and Brazil its the Caribbean with more African culture to the very Italian and European feeling Argentina and Uruguay or the very native American/asian Peru, bolivia and Chile. The food in each area is a mix of south american staples, like grilled chicken and seafood, to more regional foods, cooking styles and drink. Rice Ecuador and above, potato Peru and south. Tequila in the north, pisco and vino in the south with a whole lot of beer in the middle. Lol

While in Marinha Grande, Portugal a plastic mold making shop owner gave me a tip one day about ordering wine that I used a lot when in Europe. He said that when in a restaurant in Portugal always order the house wine. He said that every restaurant owner knows that one of the keys to his success is to always serve a good and reasonably priced house wine. And he said that the restaurant owner goes to the vineyard owners, who fixes them up with some of their best stuff on an ongoing basis. I found it to be true. This particular gentleman who gave me this advice is actually famous in the area and region as a well connected publicly minded citizen. His name was Joaquim Menezes,
