Thanks for this guys. As you said it's a desert landscape very similar to some areas in the southwestern US. I'm intrigued to visit these lesser known parts of the country thanks to you guys. Does it get really cold there in winter? Can't wait for all this virus business to come to an end so we can all get on with our lives and our travels. Just think... soon we will once again be able to plug ourselves up and go exploring, and millions of tourists will again fan out across the land like so many ticking time bombs! :) Daniel it's your fault! You planted that image in my head!
AUDREY, Sam needs a wick-away moisture scarf to not get sunburned. You are both lovely and we love your Dad! He reminds me of my Dad. God bless you guys. Love it there!
I wonder if they use dry farming methods or (dry land farming methods) at that vineyard like they do on Indian farms where they fortify the soil with nutrition and figure out Permaculture methods for the soil to retain moisture the few times it does rain so they still can grow crops? I'd love to learn how to do that. I love driving standard. I grew up learning to drive a stick shift that was on the steering column and all my adult life except for the past few months when I got an automatic, I have always had a car with a manual transmission.
I thought of the colors in the north end of Valley of Fire (farthest from the highway) when I saw the shots from Purmamarca yesterday, especially the green and violet hues. I have always wondered why more folks in the US don't know about Valley of Fire, and why it's not a National Monument. It is that stunning.

The wines were really good! They were about $20 USD a bottle, which is a bit on the pricier end considering how affordable wine is in Argentina, but it was a high-end wine.
@@samuelandaudrey That's not so so bad..thought you were going o say 40 or more...but yes it's expensive for local Argentine wine. It's probably like our expensive ice wines from Niagara wine region.
