Cool fly. I rarely think to use Peacock as a tail fiber. I wonder if the fish aren't taking the fly as a Yellow Sally nymph. I tie a version of Kyle's BH Yellow Sally that has a very similar orange back. Either way- nice tie, thanks for sharing!
Great idea with using the mono to capture the scudback and limit thread wraps. I have a lot of spare mono line laying around my garage and I'm running low on thread. Thanks for the tip
Lance is it possible this better represents a water cress bug than say a traditional caddis? Might be why the fish are keying on it? Either way it is an awesome pattern and great job on the instructions!
But, does it catch those dirty browns on the provo?
Well done Lance, you know how much I respect your work.

Good job bro
This is by far my favorite fly
It was really my first confidence fly for sure 👍🏻
is the head on a Caddis bigger than the body or is it smaller ????
Great pattern . Easy tie , easy to get materials. Just the way i like it .
Nice fly. Thanks
nice!
Excellent work Lance.
Great pattern thanks for sharing Lance. Wondering, with that extra long point on the Hanak, is there increased risk of severe damage to the trout?
