Thanks again Nick. On a personal note I am not very impressed with this vessel particularly with a price tag of £5.4 million. Not sure what the designers were thinking about when they decided to place the forward door so that it opens across the helm position and the crew quarters are dreadful. Apart from that your tour was, as always, very interesting
I actually thought the crew quarters was going to be at the front of the bow under that little triangle part, then I thought nah, the opening is too small. Imagine my surprise when it was that tiny square window! Curious decision considering the range these things get. Imagine spending days down there. And the way it opens?? Ah.
I'm quite fond of cats, but agree the door across the view from the helm was an "oversight" that should have been noticed in the design stage. I'd be viewing with the mindset of where are the other "oversights". Somewhat surprised that Nick didnt notice / comment on it. The crew areas border on embarrassing for such a spacious vessel. A shame, it ccould have been so much more. The Hybrid version does sound like a winner and the stealth look is stunning. 😀
On catamarans, the crew area is almost always up front. The forward door is great for breeze as well as not having to 'go around.' My guess is that the forward door _won't_ be open while under way _or_ the pilot will be on the sky bridge if the weather is that nice. There's always a trade off. This one has the unobstructed view when you're in the office chair and eating. I'm sure any owner can change to suit their preference.
Not one for me, hate the design and looks, the bedrooms look like concrete bunkers and access to the crew cabins is shocking, imagine if it is raining, your getting soaked putting the handle in the hole, what's wrong with the normal flush handles. Over €5 million, I would feel robbed if I paid over a million
The BLCK cat, with the Hanstiger in the background, that he also has a tour of. This BLCK cat was beautiful inside and out. The teak and the mat black boat, was super stealthy. Great tour Nick 👌
Massive boat and impressive overall, except for the crew cabin- going down that ladder after a tiring day or on a rough sea would be a no- no. Good photography Nick
Yeah, I've never been a fan of external-only access to a crew cabin. But maybe that's because I'm thinking I'll eventually get an explorer yacht *meant* for heavy weather.
That's why you get pretty young women as your crew and they sleep with you. And you charge them for your company, so it's a win win combination for you.
I am fond of this particular edition and there is just so much space onboard its fantastic! I like the idea of a Silent x Vision collaboration as with 80 foot of solar panels one would assume the range would be amazing. Thanks for the tour Nick!
I like that you can customise everything even the hull colour, extremely spacious above decks, slightly narrower below decks in the hulls but still spacious, nice finishes through out. Really nice yacht. Thanks for another great tour Nick.
Thank you Nick! Overall, an amazing yacht but with three drawbacks that are not negligible. 1) No day heads! What if you have a party or someone visiting? Will they go through the cabins? 2) The finishing of the ceiling is annoying and very difficult to clean. I would go for something more conventional. 3) Crew cabins! We should respect the time that these people spend on board. They are not slaves but employees. They do their best so passengers have a nice trip. They deserve a decent place to live!
I have to agree with some other comments about the crew areas, for a yacht of this price and size you’d expect better crew accommodation. They were like an Oubliette. Also I agree with the position of the door out to the bow. It opens the wrong way. So some things to think about for future design updates I think. A lovely video as usual Nick you are the best and I’ve checked a few others and they are 3 rd devision at best.
I would have an upper galley and a nice crew area. And the crew area on this one would be storage. But I think solar panels would be the way to go.Thank you Nick for another great blog.
I would do exactly the same! Crew quarters up front look like prison cells, much more practical to have them where that kitchen is now! But the space is what sells them every time! ❤️
I was going to say the same but I guess if you have a crew(in better crew cabin) and a Galley up in a big open plan area, the crew and guests would be in the same space
A different breed of cat - that's a fact, Yes, catamarans all have a massive main deck - a place that covers the expanse of two hulls. But it's what the Vision designers have done with ALL those spaces that puts this boat a cut above. Nick, you've again done a wonderful job filling our Sunday mornings with a float, on a boat that is massive - with a tour above and below decks to areas that belie logic, but enhance fun. Thank you.
YES!! This yacht is awesome! I cant wait to see Silent80 tri-deck version of this, with its wider beam. Im hoping in some of the upcoming boat shows later this year. I really want to see how big the port side tender garage and starboard side storage areas are without those big diesel engines filling them up. *Thank you for being the first to show us the crew cabins
A fascinating catamaran nick with lots of different features and layouts to be had on this twin-hulled dream boat. It just goes to show that anything can be achieved within the confines of the space within each Hull, the bathing platform is probably the largest one I've ever seen, which can also be lowered with a 600kg lifting capacity. Another brilliant tour nick of a fantastic looking catamaran/boat very impressed with this one!
Cats are the way to go, I had a Lagoon Power 43, 3-cabin/office version with all options incl dinghy davit. Fantastic value for money and superb fuel economy. Full width aft master cabin with separate WC & shower. I could go on....
I think aesthetically they’ve nailed this one. But as some have mentioned, some concerns over functional features. However, as always, you were great Nick! Brilliant video
Looks great, for sure - but I think I'd concede a little in the ways of aesthetics in favour of comfort, as in sunny climes - and where else would you want to be in such a boat? - this is going to suck up heat like nobody's business and would be to hot to touch
Wow wow wow that is my new dream boat particularly with the silent collaboration in mind. Just the amount of space is stunning and with three daughters trust me I need that space. A fantastic tour as usual Nick but you are giving me nightmares because each new tour seems better than the last lol. Keep up the great work sir .
Wow she is stunning. The width is huge, the living space you have is a house on the water. I do like how your able to get around the bed, rather than in most you cant. I would be gone for a very long time with this. Such elegance throughout. Thank you so much nick for showing us around her
That really is incredible. What a luxurious boat. Never seen the like. The colour is amazing as is the interior and exterior space. Wow. I like. Great tour Nick.
Since watching your videos Nick i have gradually become a fan of catamarans, the saloon on this is vast and for me a bit bare and lacking any character i would have the galley up there and make a little more comfortable and cosy. I believe you said that space below deck could then become a crew cabin, those current ones are terrible and only fit for fenders and ropes etc, one other thing is the lack of a day heads which puzzles me on something this size, great tour as always, thanks Nick.
As you gave us your usual brilliant tour Nick , I was reckoning up the value and I’m 3,000,000 under the asking price ! Yuk galley, a couple of chain lockers called crew quarters and a master cabin in a corridor! A five year old Sunseeker for half the price would be a better purchase me thinks. Thanks Nick , you and not that pair of canoes gets my thumbs up !
Fascinating tour of a really interesting boat, Nick. I can see this as one you'd spend a very long time on - though I wouldn't want to do that if I were a crewmember, I don't think! My personal preference would be galley up, crew cabin at the rear - I don't think I could subject a crew to those coffins at the fore!
It always amazes me as to how versatile and how much space and volume you get in a catamaran!!! It’s a mansion that floats! Love it! It would be great if you could ever do a meet the owner on one of these superyachts. I understand they may want to remain off camera but it would be great to hear how they use the yacht, their experience, do they ever hire a crew etc. anyway, fantastic tour as always and have a great week one and all!
It's not a separate tool, they can also be used with the Harken winch, and maybe also with the anchor winch, in cases where the power doesn't work. But in this case it also works to open up a hatch. It could help people to stay out, like a lock. Cus they have to find the handle first lol
@@VirtanenDK my concern is not that it is a single-purpose tool, solely for opening hatches. My concern is that there are regularly travelled spaces on the boat where a tool must be retrieved to gain access. Not only does this seem inconvenient, but potentially unsafe. It’s easy to imagine an emergency where a person has fallen unconscious in one of these areas. Requiring rescuers, who might not be intimately familiar with the boat, to first find, and then employ a tool to get help to them is less than ideal. The fact that the tool in question serves multiple other purposes does not allay my concerns.
While not a catamaran fan, this yacht is pretty special with some gorgeous design touches, colours & textures (& a few oddities too!). Lots of money but lots of boat! Great tour Nick! 👍🏻
Fascinating and very impressive boat. Having kept a boat in Turkey, I know how good their engineering can be. This would make a fantastic Mediterranean (or Caribbean) party boat. I can imagine a party of 10 people or so having a whale of a time on a boat like this!
Definitely a very beautiful boat. Not sure I feel positive about some of the details, such as the tenders on the front deck, the separate handles for the deck hatches and the placement of the toilets in two of the guest rooms, and while very sleek, a matte black exterior in a sunny season might be tough. I would configure mine differently with the Silent Yachts drivetrain, matte light grey exterior, single tender on the hi-lo platform and a refinement of the heads and then it'd be perfect! That is for another awesome tour!
I agree. How can you have seats that have a black back if you're going to be in the Sun? The whole ship being black will turn it into an oven. Then you need to use extra electricity for for more AC. WILL also make it feel a lot hotter when you're sitting outside. The black would just radiate heat up all around that boat.
Fur coat, no knickers as they used to say. A large galley with bugger all work surfaces, seems to sum this vessel up. I'm sure it looked groovy on CAD, but it just doesn't click in the flesh, as it were. It's like a bunch of designers/naval architects were assigned, but each worked in isolation. Hey ho. Cheers for your efforts though mate👍
Hi Nick, And thank you for this great show of this mat black VisionF 80 Catamaran. what a space you have in a catamaran of this size very nice I love the stunning master bedroom with head the nice galley down below also great but the little crew space in the nose are cozy with there own head this is again a ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐show thanks again Nick
Stunning, Nick. Surprised there aren't any outside bar/cooking/fridge areas, and agree with your other viewers regarding moving the galley upstairs, but the spaces are amazing!
Another brilliant tour Nick, you’re getting rather good at this stuff aren’t you!! I think for a boat in the med, it’s hard to beat. Sooo much space for 80’ and it looks awesome and those fuel burn numbers are rather impressive. I can imagine having a month cruising gently around from bay to bay, dropping the toys in for some adrenaline fuelled fun, then longing around the rest of the day on those vast decks….. 😎
Like Nick said, this was this owner's design. The small hatch down into the crew quarters is pretty bad, but that's what this owner wanted I guess. This is a massive boat and the potential is just as massive. I can imagine no grey cloth or leather on the interior, but a classic trawler-type look with a lot of wood and vents on some of the cabinet doors. I would use a darker wood with a matte finish. When I think of a multi-million dollar yacht I want to see a teak or cherry interior. What would Princess do with an 80-foot Cat? I bet Vision has some great visions for this hull. The hybrid engine model should be great. Great tour Nick. Thanks.
What I always find absolutely outrageous, especially with such an enormously large boat like this one, is when the crew is housed in absolute holes and for example have to go through wind and weather to get from their "cabin" to the rest of the interior of the boat. But that just shows how much you value your crew, or don’t.
It is a different yacht than we usually see. I like their form language with curved teak and different thinking. It makes for some different cabins, but what a huge space up top. The matt black color gives it a bit of Batman's yacht look.
Black might not be a great idea on super hot days, and the huge available space seems slightly wasted. But I guess you can fix those and a tighter layout approach means you can add extra options. I can see a Jacuzzi added etc.
Hi everyone. Nice walk trough Nick. It s the second time i watch this video, and this time I ve noticed a yacht??? on the back of your video. At 8:53 minutes, when you re in one of the bows, what the heck is that black boat with strange shapes?Does anybody knows what is that?
I think an ideal layout would be having the galley down and a nice crew area next to it, then one more guest cabin on that side, and have an owner and guest cabin on the other side. The free area on this boat is abysmal
Hi Nick, great review as alway...love the idea of the solar collaboration. Next time you speak to Volvo or the IPS people ask them if they have plans for full electric IPS system please.
Darth Vader’s weekender. I have seen more of this type on Nautistyle’s channel that impressed me much more that this especially for the enormous price tag. Good tour Nick of a very unspectacular vessel in my opinion.
Not keen on the position of the helm looks like they're going to struggle to see out! Steel Hull all the way! Otherwise I liked the orange bedside tables and the care that went into the teak with those curved drops/ wraparound! Great vid as always 👌
Those side decks are huge. The front access surely could go out to the side. So much deck space surely room for a better crew accomodation rather than sticking them in a cupboard.
Thanks again Nick. On a personal note I am not very impressed with this vessel particularly with a price tag of £5.4 million. Black might not be a great idea on super hot days, and the huge available space seems slightly wasted. But I guess you can fix those and a tighter layout approach means you can add extra options. I can see a Jacuzzi added etc.
One of the great things about solar is that all that energy you have spare can be spent on a/c. A black solar version would be brilliant.
Hi everyone. Nice walk trough Nick. It s the second time i watch this video, and this time I ve noticed a yacht??? on the back of your video. At 8:53 minutes, when you re in one of the bows, what the heck is that black boat with strange shapes?Does anybody knows what is that?

@@AQUAHOLIC thanks!
Beautiful sleek yacht. 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
That’s a stunner
Ok, I will have it 😳😬. This must be Bond boat week.. 😳🫢 2 for 2 this week. What an absolute stunner ..especially in black. Thx Nick 😎✌🏻
One of the nicest and coolest boats ever and I thought big sports cruiser was always first choice… not anymore, that boat is just amazing
This is just super clean and nice..
Stunning ship, thank you Sir Nick
Glad you like it!
Yes! Finally a big power cat! Thanks Nick!
Edit: And an RXT-X 300 on the bow, I'm picking up one of those on Tuesday (and an RXP-X 300), can't wait!
Enjoy!
Ha, you read my mind on the home office part 😄
A VERY AWESOME AMAZING BOAT....Thanks for the excellent tour my friend....Shoe🇺🇸
Thanks for watching
Black? That is always so much fun on a hot day.
Keep a lookout for a Wider 150. I think your video tour would be fantastic.
Thanks Nick, my opinion is not so high, the galley..the crew area.. my note is 6,85/10 but very impressive yacht !
Nick: "So much space for activities"
Owner: *Lays on the floor silently and never moves.
Could you please make a video about the Jeanneau merry fisher 1295 fly. That would make me really happy
I especially like the crew cabins.
You could use them as brigs for unruly passengers or pirates.
Black and sea spray ! What a good idea
Espectacular Nick 👏👏👍🇨🇴
Another amazing video and I don't like being on the sea but, I love the design and you give a fabulous guide, tour and analysis
Glad you enjoyed it!
Those side decks are huge. The front access surely could go out to the side. So much deck space surely room for a better crew accomodation rather than sticking them in a cupboard.
Very interesting boat and tour. I wouldn’t want to be crew on this vessel (unless I could have one of the guest cabins 😀)
