I hope you end up making that video comparing the 3 mizuno silos (Beta, Neo III Classic, and Morelia 2) would love to see that, and specifically get a comparison or some info on lateral lockdown across the 3! I think that will end up being my deciding factor for my next pair.
If I end up getting another pair of Alphas, then yes! otherwise I'd say from top to bottom, the lateral lockdown is as follows:
1) Alpha
2) Neo 3
3) Morelia 2
I would say that the Morelia 2 is VERY close to the Neo 3 though

For me the morelia 2 is honestly my favorite boots at the moment and this is coming from guy who is a huge fan of the tiempos and the adidas adipures. The K-leather upper really is just so so plush,soft and really has to be amongst the best leather quality there is. Only ones I say that rivals are the Italian made Diadora Brasil boots,Lotto Stadio and the tiempo legend 9 Montebelluna but the morelias are just something else. The fit and comfort really no words on how genuinely comfy they are. Plus it’s a pair of boots that has lasted me a long time

One of my favorite boots of all time, pretty crazy that it consistently competes with Nike and adidas and in my opinion is always better despite never receiving an update to the model itself. There’s almost nothing bad to say about it except the lockdown, but that’s mostly due to the thick laces, I switched them out and they were way better. Plus the durability is insane
Mizuno laces are so bad. I replaced the laces on the silver Rebula Cup with the spare pair of black laces from the Puma 5.1 Man City pack that I had previously sold.

@@Feanaro5503 The stock laces aren't great, but Mizuno sells zeroglide laces that make a ton of difference. Don't know why they don't just include it with the boot

Love these Noah! I dream of a pair of these. I’ve been wearing the navy blue Mizuno DNA and all black Mizuno Monarcida neo 2 japan both very amazing boots for my wide flat feet. I haven’t seen many reviews of Mizuno monarcida so you should think of those too 😅🤙🏽

I have this in white color, but with different front leather stiching - it's version for Japan market. Tiempo Legend 9 in FG have better soleplate, Mizono's is not really responsive in my opinion. Fun fact - this red small strap on heel is literally painted on, I used nail polish remover to clean footprints left by opponent's and color comes off right away xd

You mean cross stitched, but you can go for normal stitched. In Japan you pay only 15 euros for a pair

The Monarcidas are the take down version of the morelia neo series!

Nice video! I notice that the studs for Morelia 2 are somewhat "wider" and "bigger" compare to those for Neo 3. I play on good quality artificial grass mostly, which one do you think are less aggressive ? Because I want to have less pressure on my ankle and knee due to some old injuries:) Thank you!

Thank you! I believe the copas fit a lot longer, I would get these in the same size you would go for a tiempo, GX, Puma Ultra, Vapor, etc. Basically find any other boot on the market that's a newer model and get the same size in these!
@@NoahCavanaugh thanks! Do these stretch a ton like Copas? I wear a US8.5 in Copas and US9.5 in pretty much everything else. The Morelias in 9.5 feel like they’re already broken in, while in the 9 my toes are pretty cramped. Don’t want to buy them too big only to have them stretch to the point of being unwearable. Hi Noah, I’m currently trying to choose between a pair of speedflow.1 for around $140 or predator accuracy .1 for around $180. Since you have tried both, which one would you prefer or recommend?
Those are great mate! If you have wider feet, I'd go with the Predator. Otherwise, the Speedflow.1 is a fantastic speed boot 🔥

A bit less padded, especially the normal Legend 9 with the foam pod on the forefoot
What I was worried about the alphas is everyone says half a size down…I know you say TTS but I always worry about leather and them stretching
TTS for these, 1/2 size down on the others
Perfect mate! Usually wear Vapor’s or GX TTS but something about these seem so special and you’ve made them sound even better haha
Best football boot on the market. I have a pair since 1 year ago and I can't understand why people buy Nike, Adidas Puma etc. The other boots feel like dilettante compared to Mizuno Morelia II MIJ. Not only that they have the best comfort, materials and made with care but they are so good on the pitch for passing, dribbling, shooting and also light weight even when wet. Improved my game by 20%, and all the blisters and foot pain went away.
Destroying the other brands by far.

If you’re in between sizes like I am go half a size down. I’m a 10.5 but with the full leather upper and the width they will stretch and it was quite sad when these did not fit well anymore so make sure you get the right size guys because these are pricey
This is exactly what I was curious about! So I’m a 11 in Vapor’s and GXs would you think a 10.5 in these would be the right choice?
@@danieljohnson9505 for me I have to wear a 10.5 due to me having a wide foot so I usually have a little space in my cleats. If your toes are right to the top of the shoes and you’re a true size 11 then I would get an 11 but if you feel like you have some room at the toe area of your boots or you have a really narrow foot then I would probably do a 10.5 because these will stretch. They’re all leather if you get these shoes with room in them it’ll feel sloppy over time and won’t feel like you have enough lock down
Definitely would go 1/2 size down if you’re in between!

Sorry also posted on a short but noticed this was more recent. Copy n pasted haha. So I just got a bonus and finally want to splurge on a pair of Mizunos. If I can ever only afford one pair of such premium boots, should they be the morelia 2 or 3 or 3 beta? Or another Mizuno boot or even the NB 442? I'm stuck please help. Btw my current boots are the takedown pro model Tiempo 9 in the beautiful pink hue inner lining colorway. So also colorway matters no gold lol. Love your channel and all videos much luck in your career on and off the pitch. Also have wider/fat feet. Or also should I go Nike premier 3. So lost please help

my size is 44 in the puma future 1,4 and gxs but the measurements I took according to mizuno say that it is 27.8-28 cm, my foot corresponds to 43 which is exactly 28 cm while 44 says that it should you are at 28.5 cm. do you think i should go down a whole size
I usually go true to size in these compared to your US sizing. Whatever US size you've worn in the past, that's what I would buy
Hi Noah, would you say the Yatagarashu are wider than these? I had to go up half a size in these are my feet are too wide (new version of Morelia 2 has been slimmed down and more streamlined). as many recommended the Yatagarashu to go down half a size as it's a bit longer, I'm thinking of doing that but am concerned if it ends up being too narrow. Thanks!

I prefer the Morelia 2, but it's all based on YOUR foot shape 🤝 If you have wider feet, the Morelia 2 is the way to go

The morelia line in general have been around for many many years. Yes definitely up there with Nike Tiempos andMercurials,predator and copa mundial by adidas and puma king if you’re saying in terms of longevity. Love the Hypervenom phantom 3 and GX btw however I choose the morelia 2 over those 2 due to the comfort

Nice review Noah! Probably a very unpopular opinion but I find these boots just ok. I’ve had them a few times and I’m always excited to get them on foot, then the touch just feels uninspired. Overly padded for me. I’d wear Copa Mundials over these any day!

@@rousseau327 have you actually worn both? Copa are less padded. The padding on them is relatively thin and dense, compared to thicker and more airy on the Morelia II.
