My last pair of these I have been using for 4 years. Don't use these in artifical ground, the sole plate if for grass if the field is hard you will feel some of the studs and studs too small for we ground. The boots will mold to your foot like a glove. These are expensive but if you take care of them they will last. If there is a complain it would be the laces are short and depending on your foot the tongue will move to the side. The quality is like no other after 4 year the inner liner and the heal counter liner are still intact. These boots are very light. good review.

@@Zaxstar007the soleplate is perfect for that surface. You should not wear them in AG ground or any quality leather shoe is general unless you don't want them to last.
@@ntorres17 the elites are not a good idea to use them but the Japan's are wo well glued together it's crazy I've been using them solely on ag pitches for more than a year and there are only scuff marks

You just described these as perfectly as everyone been saying. Had gone through 2 pairs over the years and I still have my second pair they’re needing to replace soon but man they’re still in good shape. Morelia honestly are some of the most comfortable football boots I’ve ever worn. In terms of all time favorite,they’re definitely top 3 alongside the adipure IV and Nike tiempo legend 5,it’s a pair I honestly will buy again because you’re literally getting what your money’s worth. One of the few rare boots I can say “it’s worth every single cent/penny”

I have the Rebula Cup and it looks similar, but the RC doesn’t have much padding in the tongue.
It's a bit similar, with less structure and more premium feeling leather 😎
Look so nice! I wonder if these could be alternative to Adidas Speedportal 99.1 Leather for my high-schooler; he is very difficult to fit because he has a wide toe box. We've tried most major offerings recently, and his favorites have been the 99.1s, but we burnt through our first pair in about 3 weeks and are on to our second (he drags his toe when shooting and they tore). I wonder how these would hold up to that, ya think?

I remember you did a Morelia DNA review quite a while back! Would you reckon the fit is similar given their similar full leather upper, tongue and heel construction? Only diff i can think of is the DNA has the same sole plate as the Neo 3s. My hypothesis is the sole plate alters the fit in quite a significant way. Hmm..
Similar fit, but they feel wider because of the soleplate! You’re absolutely spot on, the soleplate actually plays a major role in the fit of a boot, which is why sometimes AG or MG models fit significantly different than their FG counterparts
@@NoahCavanaugh Thanks for the feedback! Now I feel tempted to get the Morelia for that wider fit. Guess the consolation is that Mizuno doesn't do much AG/MG so easier on selection choices! Awesome shoes! Thanks for the review again!

I did, yeah! Almost no toe room, but without feeling cramped
I went down half a size on mine. Usually a 10.5 and went to with a 10.

It's all going to depend on YOUR foot shape mate! For me, The Morelia Neo 4 MIJ is my favorite, followed by the Morelia 2 MIJ, then the Morelia Neo 4 Beta MIJ.

I haven't mate, no! I'm sure they'll be good though - Mizuno Elite models are about the same quality as normal top end models from other brands, and then the MIJ stuff is a tier above everything else. 🤝

I would go true to size! I wear a 9US in both a vapor and these (although I can't wear the vapor because of the width). The length is the same on both!
Do you think full leather boots take on too much water in wet conditions compared to synthetics? Put another way, when you have multiple pairs of boots, do you leave the leathers in the bag when conditions are wet?
Not really anymore, boot tech is good enough now where even the best leather doesn’t hold a ton of water

Morelia 3 doesn't exist yet mate, so I assume you're talking about the Morelia Neo 3 - I have reviews on both!

They’re both great! X Fly 5 is more modern feeling, and Morelia 2 is probably the most comfortable boot on the market

I recently bought Asics ds x fly 5 and i like their shape but the soleplate feels unnatural and i have too much traction . I am looking for something that imitates the feeling of playing barefoot or in trainers so i can change direction more freely and feel more natural. Do to think that switching to these morelias would fix my issue?

Hey sorry for the repeat comments but I have the Morelia neo IV in a 10us and after breaking in they feel great. My normal shoe size is 10.5 us should I get 10.5 or 10 in the Morelia 2 ? I also have the Adler Japan cleats in a 10 and after breaking in they feel great. Thanks in advance !!!

How is the shooting on these boots? I want to buy these but with modern boots, shooting the ball is much easier compared to traditional leather for me. Shooting is important
The shooting on ANY boot is only as good as YOU are at shooting. The player makes the plays, not the boot... 🤝
Sigh. For instance Predators give more grip on the ball, thus different boots give you differing control on the ball.
I was actually theorizing if wax on the outside of a leather outsole would give more grip on the ball, comparable to wax on a surfboard.

i bought this elite version for about 80 pounds they’re fantastic, but 6 months in the glue is starting to come apart maybe because i play on ag. i dont wanna buy any thing but mizuno because of the comfort but they dont make any ag options
i know the made in japans at expensive but they’re def worth the price, would last you a long time, im on and off at pitches and my mij always perform so well
These have held up unbelievably well for AG pitches, maybe something to look into if you can buy the MIJ version!
The reason why MIJ lasts so long isn't just the materials, they double glue the soleplate and glue the seam as well, so even within Mizuno's own lineup, it's no surprise durability on Elite version don't last nearly as well as the MIJs

How do these compare with a Copa Mundial? Is it really that much better? Mizunos are expensive in comparison to the copa.

@@NoahCavanaugh is the difference worth the $110+ price difference? They’re both boots with a similar take. Is the quality in leather that much better? Only asking because Copas have a group of people who swear by them! Also the quality on the copas is supposed to already be pretty good. Are the Mizunos quality that much better?? I plan on my next leather boot to be either of those.
