Great review. Honestly the Horenso is one of the best boots I’ve ever worn. The Morelia 2 is close, but the leather upper on the Adler is just a smidge more supple.
I remember having a lot of "roll over" in all my boots playing in high school in upstate NY. We played in the fall and it was always raining wet and muddy. Now (at 50) playing in a Sunday league, getting a little roll over makes me feel like I'm doing something.
Love this boot. Wish I had gone a full size down 😭 Half a size down is just way too long. Wish they would have added a midfoot shank as well, it would have been perfect then. Overall the Yatagarashu is better IMO
I bought these in a 9.5 us. A full size smaller than my normal 10.5 us. They are still a bit too large in the toe and too much volume in the width, considering i have a semi wide foot. Looking to go for an 8.5us once i sell mine. Amazing boot, but sizing is tricky.
thanks Noah! Have been waiting for this video. Will you say it's wider than the Morelia 2? I will be going over to Osaka next month and will try all the lines on but just wanna know your opinion. Thanks!
Hey Noah. Love all your boot videos. Question for you. I have the 442 v2 pros and love them. Wondering if the horenso would provide a similar experience or better or worse. Thanks!
Hi, first and foremost thanks for the amazing work on the "1 month review" videos you do ! I have a question about Adler, I'm usually a size us 10.5/ equivalent of a 28.5 JPN size in Mizuno Morelia but the biggest size available on the Adler website on every silo is 28 JPN size (10 us) is it the size I should pick since you advise to size down on that brand ? Thanks in advance 🙏🏻
Amazing boots, quality is out of this world, just the sizing is too big unfortunately for me...should have ordered smaller ones. Have them in black in size 10 US/EUR 43 and have decided to sell them, if someone is interested let me know. I am located in the Netherlands.
Between the Tiempo Legend 10 and these Horensos, which one is better for performance. They both look pretty similar being a more streamlined boot. I was leaning towards the Horenso but I'm afraid the soleplate is too flexible. What do you think?
@@NoahCavanaugh thanks a lot for the help Noah, I’ve been watching your videos since you released your Nike Premier 3 review in the Blue Launch Colorway. Imma subscribe right away.
Man i love all these leather boot but would always choose modern soleplate like tiempo for match which have some bladed stud I need that aggression i don't think i'll ever get it with these. Not liking the traditional stud as much
Hey Noah Wanted to ask your advice on these vs the Asics X-fly 5. I absolutely love the Asics but I have wide feet, and after awhile they smash my toes abit too close and give me blisters when I play. Would these have a wider toe box from your experience (assuming the size down on this to have the most accurate sizing between the two)?
Hi Noah, I have the Yata but it’s a tiny bit too big for. Interested in getting the Horenso but was wondering if they are built on the same last/sizing?
Hey mate! If I am not mistaken, the soleplate has Karvo insert isnt't it? So I reckon their Karvo insert is not as stiff as Adidas? Great review as always.
It does, yeah! I'm not sure - the Carbon insert in the Ghosted/Speedflow/Speedportal wasn't from KaRVO, it was from CarbiTex, unless you're speaking about something else? 👀
@@NoahCavanaugh I am aware both are different tech, but in terms of purpose they quite similar; to promote some amount of stiffness for snapback. I might be wrong here.
Hey, I’m kinda contemplating about the Adler horenso, the Yatagarasu, and the mizuno Morelia 2 MIJ, I have very wide feet after I checked the measurement, what would you recommend out of these 3? As I’ve always been getting the cheaper take downs of shoes like the Copa sense, the Copa pure, I have a pair of Kaiser 5 tf, I need some sort of studded shoes as my Copa pure is getting very small and there is a pressure point which is getting more painful the longer I have them and use them
I bought adler yatagarashu on december 2022. At first i thought to use it as a back up rotation of my other 2 boots (predator LL, and superfly 8). But it end up into my first option of regular boots. I sold the other 2 and bought athleta o’rei t06 as the back up if yatagarashu. Now i’m into leather boots as my preference. Still as matter of comfort adler lead miles ahead
The main differences: - Horenso is lighter than the Yata - Horenso has a more barefoot touch than the Yata - There is more leather on the Yata than on the Horenso, e.g. the Yata has an extra layer of leather at the lace-holes You can probably see how those three points are linked. The Horenso isn't quite a speed-boot, but of their two boots with a fully k-leather upper, the Horenso is the lightest and has the thinnest touch.
@@duaneswaby622This is what I wanted to know. I didn't care for the horenso only because the soleplate is way too soft and flexible for me and it doesn't give me enough support. I need more stiffness, it helps with performance. Everything else about the boot felt great, especially the leather. Looks like the midfoot shank could have made this an amazing boot like you stated in another comment. I might try the yatagarashu out for now though. Thanks for the information!
@@CognizantCheddar nah it's not the midfoot shank that's KaRVO. Both have a full length piece of KaRVO but only the Yatagarashu has a midfoot shank. Check the tech specs for both and you'll see it's not listed for the Horenso. So the result is the Horenso can fold in half very easily while the Yatagarashu has a much stiffer midfoot.
Hey Noah, from watching your videos I know you get 26.5cm shoes. So what is your size in cm from heel to toe of your barefoot? Is it 25.5cm or 26cm to get that snug fit so you wont have clown shoes.

After trying out all lines of adler boots, how do you personally rank them? Which one is your fav?
1) Yatagarashu
2) Horenso
3) Yamatokyo
4) Jarumakan
Would you recommend these or the yatagarashu’s?

I’d say the Morelia is a tad wider 🤝
Great review! Would you say horensos have a more padded, thick kind of comfort than yataragashus
They're about the same as far as upper goes, it's the shape that are different

True to size on the Morelia 2, and down 1/2-1 size down for both the Horenso and the Yata
