After seeing a few comments, I have realised that something I should have clarified better in the video is that Cynthia Boyce was not Tony Gardner. Gardner is a notable and highly respected designer who has worked in the industry for over 40 years, predominantly on movies with a horror/Halloween aesthetic. He is not your average run-of-the-mill makeup designer. Additionally, he has never worked with the majority of the artists that Cynthia tweeted about and when he worked with Katy, Cynthia had already been tweeting about the pop girls for around a year. I can confidently say that the likelihood of it being him is 0 and that Cynthia definitely stole the image from Gardner's account. I apologise as I should have made this explicitly clear in the video. There was a small section of this video that was left on the cutting room floor, that discussed a possible connection between Cynthia's random "bloody face" tweet and Tony being a makeup designer often in horror works. I theorised that perhaps an artist was planning a horror themed music video/era that would have Gardner as a designer, but the plans never came to fruition. I cut this theory as I felt it was a little rambly (me, rambly? never....) and that it didn't add anything to the video. But perhaps on reflection I should have left it in. Apologies for any confusion caused :)
Something I noticed: Cynthia ominously tweeting "moon" happened just a few days before Radiohead released their album A Moon Shaped Pool. As far as I know, they hadn't announced the title of the album when the tweet was made. They probably have no connection, but the thought of a twitter account known for predicting pop girly music also predicting a Radiohead album is absolutely hilarious to me.
I find it so bizarre that, Cynthia had proven hundreds of times before that she was a reliable insider, but after posting a picture from someone else's instagram, never even claiming it was her own, she immediately became "unreliable" and "fake???" How does that make sense??

I don’t get why tweeting that pic would make ppl think they were fake. I think it would’ve been sensible to conclude that the doll was the makeup designer, who did stuff for celebs and HEARS stuff when they do their makeup.
EXACTLY. like why did they take that to mean she was faking cause she used some guys photo? And I was also thinking it was him too lol, I can’t believe it wasn’t brought up.
ikr, this part is so bizarre. but i guess it just shows the obsession and stupidity of the people that so actively participate in these "events". like, don't you think Cynthia intended for y'all to find the origin of the photo? and at the end of the day they're just an insider, and probably not in a position to know some final decisions too, so if they got something wrong or not completely right it's normal. plans change, like all the time. even in the middle of the release, like it was with Rihanna's ANTi album. so discrediting such an uncommonly reliable source because of THAT photo is peak unhinged behavior.

There is an entire black market / underground economy centered around the illegal trade of leaked / unreleased / yet to be released music. People purchase songs from shady hackers or insiders with crypcur. Songs are often bought just so that other people don't buy and then leak them to the public. Just ask around twt in any sort of fan circle. Unreleased / leaked songs from Sia and Melanie Martinez are notorious for this underground trading, as an example.
Wow, what a mystery. It’s crazy how accurate that account managed to predict songs (even unreleased ones). When I first saw “Pink is the flavor, solve the riddle”, I thought it was a reference to the viral Pink Sauce! 😂 Like imagine a random twitter account predicting things like that!
I’m not really on twitter that much or even stan twitter but i literally binged all your videos after you came up on my recommendation ✨ it’s so entertaining and funny lmao
I remember this account being discovered and all the hype around her cryptic tweets. This is speculatively sharing information I heard, but at one point I was told the account was associated with the producer who did the Country Club Martini Crew remixes (Nick* I believe was another name he went by?). Very frequently he'd remix Beyoncé, Gaga, Britney, etc songs including some of the Britney Jean era releases. The most damning evidence is he did a remix of Blow by Beyoncé that even contained a verse that'd been entirely scrapped from any released version of the song, which gives credence to the idea that he had some sort of insider knowledge and/or connections and means he could potentially have tweeted those lyrics.
OMG I JUST FOUND SOMETHING OUT. Ok listen up. When Cynthia Boyce posted the tweets "3" and "wig off" I though that's weird so I did a little digging and I found something. It's kind of a stretch but Katy Perry's 3rd song on her 4th album is called "Roulette". One of her lyrics says "tonight I'ma let my hair down", relating to the post "wig off". Also if anyone's wondering the 9th song on her 4th album is "Chained to the Rhythm" which is one of her most popular songs on that album. The tweet "Bloody face." could be a reference to Katy Perry's 4th album's cover.
It’s also actually possible for her to have insider knowledge and know lyrics/song names, as opposed to somehow knowing the outcome of an election/football game
It’s the way that one photo made ppl just forget abt the dozens of songs they predicted 💀💀 Tbh if I were them, I’d hop off twitter too cuz that’s just dumb 😭
my theory is that cynthia was dating someone who worked in the music industry and then they broke up which is why she kinda went off the rails by the end of it
its seems extremely obvious that the account was just an insider because all of the predictions are very specific genres. it looks very much like it was someone who worked for a studio that did pop music in some way (could even be distribution person).
I love getting reminders why Twitter terrifies me!! I'm not really sure I understand why people decided this person was a fake just because she posted cryptic shit? If she was really an insider, it's possible the pivot happened because there was increased concern about leakers internally, and she didn't want to be outed. Very strange stuff tho. Why not just leave her be, let her keep posting stuff, and see if it pans out without freaking out? Plenty of the most credible leakers in the gaming sphere have gotten predictions wrong without utter backlash. Pretty much anything within a corporate industry is subject to change based on a huge number of factors
people should have just waited to see what would happen with that house or see why it would be connected with the house. instead of bashing and calling someone fake while they listened to one person trying to 'expose' them.
I haven't heard anything about this, but I'm excited. I'm betting this thing is going to end up being something like what happened with the Ariana Grande Samsung Smart Fridge subplot and they posted this after and just made it look like it happened before the songs came out.

I like to imagine this is a Midas’ Barber situation. This is like a music/sound engineer in the recording studio or something and they’re awful at keeping secrets. So they whisper with their little doll about future songs and bury them Only instead of the rushes saying “king Midas has ass’ ears” when the wind blows through, random lyrics show up on people’s feeds on twitter
Here’s my theory: Cynthia was an insider who decided to leak some stuff. People started giving her attention, and she became big headed and wanted more. That would explain the really in depth descriptions of lyrics later on. She was nervous at first, but the fame and lack of consequences caused her to get more dangerous with it. I think her vacation wasn’t an actual vacation, but rather a behind the scenes reason. It could’ve been a lack of information, or she could’ve been getting looked into and wanted to stay under the radar. I think she probably decided to troll a little bit at the end, and eventually stopped when she started getting hate. This is all obviously a theory, but anything is possible with this goofball
Omg this is so crazy. I had just seen a tweet where someone had made a joke mentioning Cynthia Boyce and I said to myself “who tf is Cynthia Boyce!?” But I never looked into it. This is so interesting honestly, great video!
i have a strong feeling that cynthia is simply a ghost songwriter and is keeping track of the lyrics she came up with for future record, in case she has to prove she wrote them in court or just to people she knows?
I would like to see a video about One Directions rainbow bears. They were so bizarre and nobody knows what that was about to this day. Might be a lot to dig in to tho..
i think cynthia works in the industry or has a reliable connect for the leaks edit: this is mentioned 3:32 i suppose there’s no way to know if those songs are gonna pop off
To be fair the chained to the rhythm is track nine and is the best song on that album...... along with the fact the lead single (chained to the rhythm) was released around march of 2017 not far off her prediction. If you get so many things right then the industry notices so they probably moved back the announcement for that song. SO maybe she only knew of chained to the rhythm so thats why she said it was her fav song.
I mean doesn’t it seem like this account was likely a PR stunt created by a record label to get fans excited and create a viral internet lore?? It seems like a lot of the singers she predicted were signed to Universal (or through subsidiaries owned by them) - the only outlier is Beyoncé who’s signed to Sony *but* her husband, JayZ’s Rockafella label is owned by Universal so that’s an obvious connection there. Also, Beyoncé’s song ‘Blow’ was written with Pharrell who’s been signed to both Universal and Sony so 🤷🏼♀️ I just can’t imagine some insider would do this and risk their entire career to do so. It makes more sense imo that it was an intentional PR push by a label to create more buzz within their artist’s fandoms.
At 8:08 her tweet says “i don’t wanna wake up” which is a reference to the scrapped beyonce demo called “wake up” which would later turn into Ariana grandes R.E.M. Also, that demo didn’t get leaked until 2018.
Everybody knows that Taylor, Gaga, Perry, Beyoncé, J-Lo, those rappers and Britney receive lyrics from a select team of songwriters. It's pretty possible that one of them became 'Cynthia' and dropped those lyrics. None of these songs were actually written by its singer.
Funny how they just tweets some random lyrics like maybe she's an insider in Spotify, etc... and everyone starts acting like she's deciding on who is the next pop star with delulu shit
Cynthia is the modern day jesus. She never said she could read the future, the fans just said she was. And when she disappointed them, she was crucified.
My guess after watching the video: I first thought Cynthia could be a music journalist (or someone who knew one), as record labels or artists' teams will send songs to be reviewed with a embargo date, but considering the account was able to "predict" (allegedly) even unreleased songs, I wonder if it could be someone working along a producer (like an assistant) or within a marketing team, as while some of the artists mentioned are signed with some subsidiary from UMG, Britney is (or was) with Sony. Althought, when it comes to big artists, there are times songs may go back and forth if the label feels a smaller artist's work could be a bigger hit for another act. Either way, I wonder how those leaks affected the artists' respective teams at all (if they would try to be more careful with collaborators or didn't felt that bothered by it or even never heard about the account)
8:38 what is that wig? It's like she put a stocking cap on and then pinned strips of hair weave to it. Did like...a piece fall off and she just went with it?
ok I have some theories-and I will write their problems 1. the artists just stole the lyrics and she just said random things-but then there’s blank space… 2. she is a bunch of celebs leaking lyrics from songs..and they can just do it from their own location bc they all have a pass word 3.or it’s just a coincidence and we are all crazy. 🙃
Brooklyn Nights was leaked very early on so that one might not have required being an insider. The others only a few months early are not that convincing either as most of this stuff leaks on forums months before the general public is aware. For example: I saw a performance of “Let it Go” at Disneyland before the song or Frozen movie were even released because I was there during filming of promo. There are many ways to know about unreleased lyrics and songs so… just a thought.
But chained to the rhythm was released during the Trump situation on top of that it was also track 9. And the music video was released 3 weeks after so although Cynthia's timing may have been off they were still technically right. Which meant they were bullied off of the internet for absolutely no reason.
honestly think the real cynthia got hacked and the hacker just didn’t have the same knowledge real cynthia seemed to have and that’s why everything was more cryptic and odd.
I've seen youtube channels that "predict famous deaths" but they have hundreds of already uploaded and private videos that they can unhide and it says they're old. You couldn't edit tweets, so this is actually wild.

No thanks. Sunlight FTW.
Also there's a Taylor Swift mannequin that predicted her relationship with Travis Kelce. "I feel fantastic hey hey hey"
XD

@@LemonnNote same and I’m getting flashbacks
Wow, what a mystery. It’s crazy how accurate that account managed to predict songs (even unreleased ones). When I first saw “Pink is the flavor, solve the riddle”, I thought it was a reference to the viral Pink Sauce! 😂 Like imagine a random twitter account predicting things like that!
Man, I thought it was gonna be an actual riddle LMAO
Fun Fact: Track 9 of KP4 (Witness) is Chained to the Rhythm. The lead single
Witness sucked ass

It’s something about the name Boyce being similar to Beyoncé for me
It’s also actually possible for her to have insider knowledge and know lyrics/song names, as opposed to somehow knowing the outcome of an election/football game
It’s the way that one photo made ppl just forget abt the dozens of songs they predicted 💀💀
Tbh if I were them, I’d hop off twitter too cuz that’s just dumb 😭
Internet Historian could never
He uploads like one every year its like a holiday
Exactly. We don’t support nazis like him.
I genuinely love random deep dives into internet culture i know nothing about
brooklyn nights got leaked in 2014 and gaga sang the chorus at the artrave tour so the lyrics are 100% real
my theory is that cynthia was dating someone who worked in the music industry and then they broke up which is why she kinda went off the rails by the end of it
its seems extremely obvious that the account was just an insider because all of the predictions are very specific genres. it looks very much like it was someone who worked for a studio that did pop music in some way (could even be distribution person).
Or they were in contact with leakers often
The reason I watch joe rejects video is because of his accent.

That’s the reason I don’t watch him. I find English accents annoying lol

I love how a Dolltwt person manage to sneak into a video stantwt about a doll leaking music😭
He may be called Joe Regrets but joe'll never regret watching his videos! (Sorry)

I'm betting this thing is going to end up being something like what happened with the Ariana Grande Samsung Smart Fridge subplot and they posted this after and just made it look like it happened before the songs came out.

gosh, why were people so mean to her, it's their interpretation who was wrong.. another commenter said Katy's 9th track was released 3 weeks after the inauguration
it's like after the photo incident they completely forgot the 3 years of many correct leaks cynthia shared
and it's not like she had to be correct everytime, she prolly made that account for funsies to see how long people would take to notice (2 years!) and what they'd theorize when they finally found out about it, and not to be obligated to answer stans' questions

I like to imagine this is a Midas’ Barber situation. This is like a music/sound engineer in the recording studio or something and they’re awful at keeping secrets. So they whisper with their little doll about future songs and bury them
Only instead of the rushes saying “king Midas has ass’ ears” when the wind blows through, random lyrics show up on people’s feeds on twitter
Did she work on the simpsons? 😂
(If you don't understand, the Simpsons has a reputation of predicting stuff.)
So glad you're back! Are you gonna do a floptropica video?
Why is it kinda scary😭😭
Ikr😟😟
@dr.escargon just my opinion

i have a strong feeling that cynthia is simply a ghost songwriter and is keeping track of the lyrics she came up with for future record, in case she has to prove she wrote them in court or just to people she knows?
I have a feeling their first tweets were real and they were a true insider but then got fired and started to put fake leaks
Your videos always bring me so much joy 🩷
I would like to see a video about One Directions rainbow bears. They were so bizarre and nobody knows what that was about to this day. Might be a lot to dig in to tho..
Yes! As a one direction fan, I haven’t really seen an actual explanation about those yet, if not related to **shudder** shipping.

Your videos are the UK’s finest export
I can’t believe I just watched an 18 minute video about a mystery and still got no answer
At 8:08 her tweet says “i don’t wanna wake up” which is a reference to the scrapped beyonce demo called “wake up” which would later turn into Ariana grandes R.E.M. Also, that demo didn’t get leaked until 2018.

u posted just in time! i was just about to start dying my hair!!
This video is remarkable, thank you for this gift 🙏
Everybody knows that Taylor, Gaga, Perry, Beyoncé, J-Lo, those rappers and Britney receive lyrics from a select team of songwriters. It's pretty possible that one of them became 'Cynthia' and dropped those lyrics. None of these songs were actually written by its singer.
I watch this channel after watching scary deep dives to balance it out with light hearted deep dives.
joe we need more content please!!
Funny how they just tweets some random lyrics like maybe she's an insider in Spotify, etc... and everyone starts acting like she's deciding on who is the next pop star with delulu shit
Cynthia is the modern day jesus. She never said she could read the future, the fans just said she was. And when she disappointed them, she was crucified.
ur accent make these videos so much better
Either way, I wonder how those leaks affected the artists' respective teams at all (if they would try to be more careful with collaborators or didn't felt that bothered by it or even never heard about the account)
she couldn't be a journalist, her first tweet literally makes that impossible.
8:38 what is that wig? It's like she put a stocking cap on and then pinned strips of hair weave to it. Did like...a piece fall off and she just went with it?
ok I have some theories-and I will write their problems
1. the artists just stole the lyrics and she just said random things-but then there’s blank space…
2. she is a bunch of celebs leaking lyrics from songs..and they can just do it from their own location bc they all have a pass word
3.or it’s just a coincidence and we are all crazy.
Welcome back Joe! We missed you 🎉❤
Feels like a ghost writer. Arists wouldn't publicly call out someone that isn't supposed to exist.
But chained to the rhythm was released during the Trump situation on top of that it was also track 9. And the music video was released 3 weeks after so although Cynthia's timing may have been off they were still technically right. Which meant they were bullied off of the internet for absolutely no reason.
It is also interesting that later Gaga collaborated with the rolling stones themselves, that was my first thought when that tweet was mentioned
track 9 is chained to the rhythm, her most famous song from that album
nicely put together!!!
honestly think the real cynthia got hacked and the hacker just didn’t have the same knowledge real cynthia seemed to have and that’s why everything was more cryptic and odd.
I think she may of put the calendar back before tweeting, if I am wrong I apologise as I don't use Twitter
Only Katy Perry and Taylor Swift fans can be angry on a person for being an insider and not an actual witch or oracle
IF THE PICTURE WAS TRACKED BACK TO 2014 HOW DID SHE HAVE THE PHOTO WHEN SHE MADE HER ACCOUNT A YEAR BEFORE??
Are all the artists that she predicted from the same record label? Maybe it was a higher up from the record label.
I've seen youtube channels that "predict famous deaths" but they have hundreds of already uploaded and private videos that they can unhide and it says they're old. You couldn't edit tweets, so this is actually wild.
