- Another old open-world game is analyzed over its police AI. Released in 2009, developed by former EA Redwood Shores, now defunct Visceral Games. The game has been delisted from every digital store as of 2014.

It's worth mentioning that the police can be your allies in battle against rival families if you bribe them.
I noticed a bit of an anachronism in that some police officers in this game, that takes place in 1958, wear Kevlars when Kevlar vests weren’t invented until 1976.
Also I found it funny at 13:30

Unbelievable, a game from 2009 has a better and way more polished police behavior than Cyberpunk 2077.

I don't understand this game set in 1958. But why do cars in this game look so 70s?
Yeah, and the people are dressing like they're on the 80s or something.
Most of the cars ingame are from the 60s. Only three cars are from the 70s.

That's one thing I always questioned too.
The cars used in the game mostly consist of late 60s to early 70s. And so do the clothing that most the characters wear. It's like they forgot the game was set in the late 50s, not the mid 60s
This is why in my headcanon, the game takes place in the 60s atleast
