Of COURSE this isn't available for us GTR owners yet. We spend 2k on a board and can't get a remote that doesn't break after being dropped form 2 feet. When are you going to take your already existing customers into account for things we're unhappy with!
It’s an awesome remote and super responsive and modulated. Great feel in the hand and a perfect weighting. The brake is also very confidence inspiring.
I fell off the board today fairly hard and my phase remote no longer functions. It’s basically just got a scuff on it but I think the impact was a bit too much for the internals so this remote has its limits. Clearly it’s more durable than the R2 and I’ll consider buying another one cause the phase is a very nice feeling remote. Durability still has room for improvement.
When will they be available in the usa, I've got my gtr that i bought years ago and haven't been able to buy a new working remote because its been sold out for months. I'd love to be able to ride again. Please help

That's correct. You only need to pair your remote to update firmware, and board to update firmware/set custom curves/read data. The mapping function works via GPS on your phone and does not need to be connected to the board to work.
Could you please post a video of how to install the lanyard on the phaze remote? Seems way more difficult than the R2... or maybe I have fat fingers... lol
Is the battery life of the remote better than the previous remote? I ask since the Hadean doesn’t have a USB port to charge the remote from. More than once on my GT I’ve forgotten to charge the remote and was left pulling home my half charged board, walking.
Any news on when we can expect to be able to buy replacement Phaze Remotes? Had mine for 4 months and it no longer remains connected to the board. It's beyond repairs at this point, I just need a working remote but sadly.. can't seem to buy the things still
how do i attach the lanyard to the remote. the maintainance kit does not come with the correct tools to take apart the remote, nor does the manual tell you how to attach it
You just push the little string end of the lanyard through one of the holes on the bottom and after a few tries it should automatically route itself through the other hole. I found it easy.
It’s a bad ass board but that thing cost an arm and a leg. I’m sorry but for that price that thing should be able to hover off the ground. Otherwise I’d already be the owner of one. But as far as the remote goes If y’all made that compatible with Vesc that would be my next investment.

Put it right ontop of the trucks, front / back or both if someone wants to spend. Ppl like playing music while they ride instead of using bells, generally.
When is EVOLVE going to make a durable replacement for us GT/GTX Gen 1 Gen 2 owners running the TERRIBLE R2 remote? We invested early and are getting shafted for it!
Trigger takes a couple of rides to get used to but after using 6 boards with a split between wheel and trigger (2 boosted + an Onsra vs 3 Evolves) the trigger feels so much better.
hurry up and make a phase remote for the Gtr for all of us who have spent 2k already now you say its for the hadean series , but you won't release any remotes for the Gtr until the demand for the hadean boards have been met this is wrong for you to do this its un Australian and not very loyal to us boy and gals who have spent thousands without complaining until now not hard to get the hardware input on the remote so its compatible with the Gtr. evolve keep your customers happy please
@@evolveSkateboards So, if I purchased a Carbon GT and a Bamboo GTX in March of 2019 for a total of about $4,200 (less than 2-years ago), I am SOL when it comes to an upgraded remote that does not break when it is sneezed on? Since then, I have purchased two additional remotes for $150 each and one of them just broke again. Getting very tired of the cheap, but very expensive, plastic remotes that need to be replaced way too frequently. In addition, to purchasing the two boards and multiple remotes in the past 18 months, I have purchased upgraded wheels and chargers as well - all totaling about $6,000 in purchases from Evolve in that time period to be stuck with cheap plastic remotes. The question is what will Evolve do for a loyal customer that has spent quite a bit on its products in such a short period of time? 😃
@@spencerpinter7083 Hi Spencer, we appreciate our customers although we cannot retrofit all new products to all models of boards (the R2 Wifi was released in 2017). We have made both silicone covers and lanyards to keep your remote safe, and we offer repairs on broken ones which is cheaper than purchasing a complete remote.

Hello fellas certainly a huge improvement over the gtr remote. So many new features cant wait to use it and eventually get another for the gtr 🤙🤙

Most certainly! Within the remote settings you can swap it between Metric/Imperial.

I get about an hour then it drops down to 10%. While the board is showing fully charged still!

Disappointed there's no bell , horn buzzer functionality seeing the laws surrounding Personal Mobility Devices require a bell at least .
We did have a buzzer built into this remote, but it was awkward to activate and didn’t sounds like a horn. We have some ideas for the future 😜

Does it work with the GTX?
No, the GT/GTX is Wifi and the Phaze uses a Bluetooth connection.
