Hi! Thank you! I’ve been waiting for over 2 months for a UK delivery of my new Diablo renegade. Your post is the closest I’ve got to starting to learn it! Hopefully within a fortnight I’ll be actually using your tips!
Nice job on the video! There are very few videos on the new diablo on youtube and i'd watch instantly if you made some more. The remotes keep getting heavier each Evolve board I buy, and i'm now putting rubber shells on the Phaze for all the remotes I broke in the past.
6:25 I don’t think that is set to ON. On my Diablo remote I navigated to that same screen and it looked just like yours, but when I clicked on it, it changed to have a little white dot on the right side of the red band. And clicking on “OFF” puts the white dot on the OFF. It looks like when you first get it, it’s neither OFF nor ON. Also at 5:55 mine now has “ON” next to Over Current
It's deceptively low profile but the small 2 holes at the bottom of the remote have a pass-through for the small end lf the strap. If you pinch the strap loop and needle thread it in, it will go through, which you can then loop it through the wrist strap inner loop a second time to achieve the taught secure strap position. Maybe put the strap in the freezer to make it stiffer if you have trouble 😂
@@scienz0220 THANK YOU!!! I actually got another similar response and was able to do it after a bit of trouble. I had actually tried this initially, but thought that they couldn't have done all this great design with the packaging, board and marketing, only to leave the remote/lanyard like this, without even a mention in the manual.

Unrelated comment but did you hear about backfire's new e-surfskate?
Thanks!
This is the nicest remote I own by a lot.

How do you attach the lanyard?

@truthseeker6377 well said, it took me a second glance to figure it out, too. The end result is real nice !
