HOW TO SERVICE YOUR EVOLVE SKATEBOARD

  • Stuck at home? There’s never been a better time to give your board a full service. From time to time it pays to strip down the hardware on your Evolve and give it a little love to get it feeling like new. In this video, we show you a detailed guide of just how to do that so you can make sure you are doing everything you can and put it back together the right way! Fresh bushings, belts, bearings and anything else you need is online now!
    When you disassemble your skateboard for maintenance it is your responsibility to ensure you reassemble it to its original state as an incorrectly constructed board may not perform safely. If you are unable to do this please see our ‘How To’ playlist for further video instructions, or contact your local Evolve service team and they will be happy to help!
    What You Need:
    - Multi Purpose Grease (we recommend lithium)
    - Evolve Skate Tool with Allen key
    - Small Pick/Screwdriver
    - Bearing Lubricant (Evolve online or any skate store)
    - Grip Tape Cleaner (we like Grip Gum)
    - A Rag
    - An empty tin/bowl
    - Isopropyl Alcohol

    Good vid - thanks. To adjust drive tension equally, while upside down, place chalk on wheels/belts, line up equally, creep slowly on safe mode, then adjust tension so chalk marks line up at each revolution. Found Isopropyl at Bunnings today. Keep up the vids.

  • @Luca-id9op
    @Luca-id9op 4 ปีที่แล้ว +5

    Hey evolve here is a good business idea. Because you are all about customization and making the ride your own it would be cool if you could offer different types of controllers (maybe one that can go backwards). This would be great because a lot of people are unhappy with the remote. Maybe you could make a remote with a scroll wheel or something...

    Thank you for video and for a great product. My 2 year old gtx is still amazing. However when I recently changed setup to at wheels I noticied a problem with one of the motors. When I spin the motors with my hand I can feel there is a lot more resistance in one of them. I can feel a quite distinct resistance every 5 mm of spinning, almost like clock ticking. The same motor also appears to be causing vibrations. It is not an issue of belt tension as this also happens with no wheels or belt on. Ultimately this added resistance in the motor causes that wheel to stop alot faster. Is this anything I could be able to fix or do I need to replace the motor?
