    Thank you for your wonderful video. It is very detailed. The Tynee mini 3 pro is positioned as the best performing and highest quality mini skateboard. In the early stages of the project, some of our team questioned whether such high performance was needed as a short electric skateboard. After we made it, everyone in our team experienced its wonderful power. We immediately fell in love with this feeling and decided to mass produce it, In terms of build quality, we never compromise and we all use the best of everything, which is why Mini 3 Pro came out. We hope you guys will like it and thank you again for your wonderful video. Thank you❤

    Probably one of the best reviews out there, the quality of the image is top notch.
    The only thing i would address is that the power of motors are indeed 5500W, but the board itself can only provide 4368W of power, it can be calculated by multiplying the voltage of the battery pack with the Amperage of the ESC, so at full charge (54.6V) it's multiplied by 80A of the ESC current resulting in 4368

    I got this board and love it. I have 2 other boards. Kicktails rule. I also went with the offroad kit because pneumatics are great. I did move the rear axle forward a bit with the offroad trucks to keep the kicktail. Its actually easy, you just shove it forward and drill 2 new holes, using the old front holes as the rear. The offroad trucks push the rear axle way back, which ends the kicktail ability. Putting it back to where it belongs makes this board now unique, in that its a kicktail with air tires. Its the best setup and as usual, nobody gets it. That combo is the best of everything. Its going to take people years to come around to this idea. People are still fooling with longboards and getting off and moving the board with their feet constantly and running right into huge cracks. The kicktail allows you to hop over big cracks. With a long board, you have no choice but to plow right into it. I just have no idea why people ever want a longboard. If you are doing high speed downhill on a road you know, great, longboard it, everything else, kicktail.

    Amazing board, the best purchase I've made in years. So fun, so fast, and super stable. Love the look of it (I hate long boards), except for the grip tape pattern, which I fixed with a sharpie. I would definitely buy another one from Tynee.

    Too much power for me 😂 but the best thing is you can easily dial the torque down, or up usin the remote, that ability to customise acceleration on many of the new boards is amazin.
    Minis are the ideal commuter, just easy to store away. Very practical like you say. I've been ridin minis from 2017 and I always try to keep one in my esk8 rotation 😂
    I'd recommend people get the Soft 105s from Tynee, Aiden is always happy and willing to let buyers customise/change things for their purchase.
    Tynee offer great service and build quality is usually great. A board like this would suit Venom bushings, not as bouncy as Riptide Krank bushings so Venoms feel more stable at higher speeds.
    Sound advice on ridin in the wet! 👏🏼👏🏼
    Aiden really puts his heart and soul into these boards, gotta applaud his work ethic.

    I have the Mini 3 pro as my go to board and the Explorer for gravelroads. I have the BOA 100 mm White Wheels and thats my favorit combo. Also have the Caguamas 85 mm they are a bit too smal the motors are to close to the ground. The Hydro Wheels 105 mm i use on the winter season when its moore rain and bad wheather no i dont ride unless i have too in the rain but sometimes you have to get home in rain and the are perfect for that. I also have the offroadkitt and i used it alott its great and the perfect combo if you are riding on moore terrain out of the citys nice paved roads. The reason i dont use it all the time is because of all the flat tires and fixing with that all the time. The 100 mm BOA is the absolut best wheels with the Mini 3 pro it makes a perfect board even moore perfect! So when i need to go on ruffer terrain i get my Tynee Explorer insted. I also have the Boosted mini X since 2019 and the Mini 3 pro is the dream upgrade to the Mini X its just check every box you can ever ask fore. My experience is Skateboarding in Verts and big skateparks since 1976. Your review is the best out there realy great! :-)

    I've been riding the mini 2 with the hydro wheels, same board, battery and motors, but with Hobbywing ESC for 18 months as my daily transport. It's a great stealth board. Must have over 2000+ miles on the board. Just give a pretend push if you are passing a policeman and you're good. Rode through a couple of police stops aimed at seizing e-scooters in London and been waved through. The motors are under the board and it passes as a manual longboard. The perfect size for a easy last mile commuter board. Just a great board and Tyne are a great company, though I have yet to need any support as the board just goes and goes.

  • @Midnightmicroscope

    Great video, I have had this board for a few months now and it holds up to the good review. The only things I could add is that yes it is powerful. I wanted to get a board that could make it up any hill in San Francisco and it can do it! But with the 105mm wheels the hill climbing will kill the battery. driving across the city with some very large hills I can kill the battery in 12-14 miles. Also if you use that power to climb hills (or break down them) you will go through belts fast, and losing a belt on a steep hills is scary.

    The x1max was my first eskate, the hub version & I've had it for 4 months now at 1337 miles this morning! The tyneemini3pro is my next eskate! I live in a very hilly area and the x1 was able to climb all the hills, even with 110rovers on it, but the 5mph up steep hills is like BLAH, but other downside to belt drive is where I live. It's a half mile semi gravel with fine small rocks until a paved road, then all our paved roads are chip sealed so loose jagged lil pebbles are everywhere! I'm hoping the belts work out, but I do 3d printing so I may design a actual full cover for the mini 3 pro!

    • @ASeSkater
      @ASeSkater  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I own the X1 max hub too and it’s one of my most used boards in a flat city. I think the Tynee would serve you really well. You might consider removing the belt covers altogether to stop pebbles getting stuck inside then getting into the belts, or as you say designing an enclosed cover

    • @gabrielpursley2812
      @gabrielpursley2812 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It's def the best bang for my buck I could've got! My biggest complaint is the failure of my 110rovers, 3 times now. FIrst set the inner plastic sleeves failed at 150 miles and the entire core of the rovers ground itself to shit.... then they sent new set of sleeves n hub sleeves, and that set is still on, and almost at 1000miles, BUT, cloud had to send a entire new set of inner plastic sleeves AND new hub sleeves because the ones I have 1000miles on failed plastic sleeve wise at 750ish, and caused inner core to break in a spot but they are still usable but their HUGE HUGE flaw is the cheap flimsy ABS type injection plastic sleeves. They need to use a polyamide or nylon mix with GF or CF infill additives to make the plastic retain itself and not break under heat or stress as east........

      Hi. I owned the Boosted Mini X too. This board is much much faster. I topped at 20mph but with the Tynee you can easily get to 30 and beyond. I get about 3 times as much range on the Tynee too with the same riding. I prefer the slightly flatter deck on the Tynee. The size between the two is comparable but you can get direct deck measurements online. The alien spaceship whirring noise on the Mini X is deeply missed though. It also had a great app, and I liked the reverse feature. The Tynee also has reverse but you need to toggle the switch on the remote. All in the Tynee wins pretty much on all fronts. Its a great buy

    I have the regular Tynee Mini 3 Belt. I wanted a short board for quite some time, basically ever since I’ve got the first Meepo. My daily commute is a Backfire Zealot S with Cloudwheels and the Mini 3 is so much less comfortable, that I can not use it for daily. I was quite shocked what a difference it makes. Maybe it’s because my area of town has a lot cobblestone and concrete tile areas that I need to pass every day.
    Otherwise it’s a great board. I am approximately 100 kg with gear and the fastest I went was 45 kmph. And the Pro is even stronger and faster!
    Also bear in mind the weight, the battery in this board is huge and it’s noticeable every time you have to pick it up and carry it. A longboard is much easier to chug along with you through stores…

      I'd see if you can get the hydro wheels installed on your board, because these things are eating up all sorts of bad terrain for me. In terms of the tail bashguard, you may be able to diy something, perhaps by gluing a piece of abs plastic to the tail?

    OK. I haven't watched the video, but I can confirm that the Tynee Mini 2 is already an outstanding board. It's so convenient and powerful that I've ended up using it way more than my Onsra Black Carve. Of course, it's more acrobatic considering the size, but it's a very solid board. I strongly recommend the Cloudwheels version (or switching to them after purchase). It increases the stability and ability to survive holes and other street impediments. If you're looking for portability and lighter weight then the mini is good. Stinger is stable and very carvy so a lot more fun to ride. Not as stable when going past 27 mph. Carving on it is best at lower speed anyway so most the time you won't want to go fast because it's too fun to carve on. Better range and tighter turning are good for city riding vs the mini.

    I would have liked to hear more about the takeoff power and acceleration, which is a big component of what this board is about. Describe it. Will it throw someone off if not positioned properly? Will the front wheels lift off the ground? Is the torque more than is necessary? What is the feeling of the take off strength?

    • @johnniewalker33

      Yes to all, you have to make sure you're planted good before you hit the throttle. I wasn't buy accident and I litterly started to manual like for 2- 3 feet before I slammed the front end down and leaned into the acceleration. Once you get used to it it's only a matter of adjusting the bend in your front knee to compensate. I highly recommend wearing full gear with the board until your absolutely sure of your self. My only interaction with the police has been where an officer asked to ride one in a local park! (Of course I said yes). He had the time of his life haha! His vest was really heavy so it was almost a good weight test of the board 😄. Always follow road traffic law when riding, ride responsibly and safely with a helmet / protection and always stop if you're asked to

      @sageoz9886 ปีที่แล้ว

      I’ve a modified Meepo voyager and it eats up belts constantly as the covers seem designed to scoop in small rocks. I transplanted all the electronics onto a cruiser deck so similar size to this Tynee. It’s got a way better steering set up with reversed rear trucks and a waterborne surf adapter set with Major Arc front truck. Currently awaiting parts to convert it to chain drive

      My goodness bro you are right and it is SO ANNOYING. I have a Voyager and I swear I have to take the belts off to get the rocks out after EVERY RIDE. I've had the since June and I've already had to order more belts 3 TIMES. I love the thing but jeez it's ridiculous

    • @sageoz9886
      @sageoz9886 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@icewallow55 I ended up getting an Acedeck Element gear drive and rear truck, been on there a little over a week. Total game changer! It’s so much better in throttle/brake feel and it sounds amazing too. Rode through the worst rocky dirt trails and really wet dirty rough streets and it just works flawlessly. I have so much confidence in its reliability now, no broken bolts and the quality/design of that gear system is excellent. On the stock system I must have broken five belts in three months, once on a scary steep downhill which was the final straw leading me to look into other systems and eventually go with sealed gears.
