Kondor Blue Top Handle NOT RECORDING with the RED Komodo X

I bought for the Kondor Blue cage
with the top handle for my Komodo X.
The handle is super comfortable
and surprisingly lightweight,
even when it's fully rigged out.
It's also full of useful designs
like this magnetic holder for the allen key
key adapters for the most used screws
and a leveling bubble two other great
features are the build in Nato Rails on top
and at the front that will allow
you to mount any other kind of accessories
you might need.
However, by far the key feature of this handle, in
my opinion, is the top recording bottom.
since you can start and stop recording
without releasing your hand
from the top handle, use
the recording feature with your Komodo X
you need to use the included cable
connect it on the right side of the handle.
the other end
goes on the back of your camera
and you should be good to go.
however, to my surprise
when I turned on the camera
and try to use it, nothing was working.
So I did what we all do.
I went on TH-cam and search for Kondor Blue Top handle,
not working with the RED KOMODO X
and unfortunately,
nothing relevant came up.
I got a bunch of videos about the KOMODO X
and a bunch of videos about the handle
no one seemed to had the solution
for my problem.
So I started to think that
there was something wrong
with the port in my camera
or maybe they sent me a defective cable.
I started digging online
I still couldn't find a solution.
Lastly, I did something that I usually don't do.
I reached out to Kondor Blue
through their Instagram profile.
I sending a message to say
and loving the product, the quality is
great and surprisingly lightweight.
I can't get the top handle to start slash
stop recording.
Is there something I'm not doing right
within a matter of seconds,
they got back to me.
is a switch on the front of the handle.
Try flipping it and see if that works.
after reading that I knew
I had seen that a small packet before.
in there is the actual switch
the whole to get this thing on is so small
that you will need something smaller than
a paperclip to be able to switch it on.
want to say that I'm really impressed with
the customer service by Kondor Blue People really got back to me
in a matter of secondsand give me a solution for the problem.
It is a peace of mind to know
that they stand behind their product
and it shows that they care
for the consumer experience
Hopefully that'll help
you fix your problem
and save you some time from scrolling
through hundreds of videos on TH-cam like I had to do or reading all these websites.
