I love your channel. Even when you are talking about something that doesn’t affect me, or I don’t have a dog in the fight or whatever, I still end up watching the whole video and loving it. It is because of this I have learned a good deal from you about amps, pedals, and other equipment and instruments. Keep it up sir!

I bought a Sire P8 to be the 1 bass in my guitar collection. The neck was so smooth to play on that it convinced me that I also needed a strat with a similar style of neck. Ended up with a Fender Vintera ii 😆
Some months ago I bought what was supposed to be a second hand fender player telecaster. When I tried it at home, I noticed the pick ups sounded too dark... I checked the pick ups under the hood and they were sire t7 pick ups. I returned the guitar to the seller. It didn't sound bad. But it was not what I thought I was buying and it didn't sound like a hmmm fender!
I hate the pickups. It’s borderline unplayable for me because it sticks up a half inch out of the guitar. I smack the pickups with my pick while playing and pisses me off. I’m gonna replace them as soon as possible
Marcus Miller once had a pretty cool (looking) MIJ Fender Jazz in a natural finish and a Sadowsky-inspired pre-amp. It wasn't actually very good. I picked up one as a pawn shop rescue and the pre-amp died and the neck wasn't playable after the 12th fret. Marcus Miller wanted a signature instrument which was affordable, and I can see why he got fed up with Fender. He's been with Sire a long time now.
I've had a HSS S7 for about 6 months now, coming back to guitar after almost 30 years, My last guitar was a late 80's Charvel super strat type with a pretty slim neck, and I was into the hair metal thing so it was perfect for that. Now I'm more into classic rock, and just an intermediate player. Really like the S7, but I must admit, some days I miss the slimmer neck profile, so the S10 is tempting. But I think maybe the next one is Les Paul type for some dirty tone and serious string bending.
I'm a beginner player and just purchased a Sire S5 Strat and love it, I have friends playing a Fender MX Strat and once they played this Sire they could not believe the quality of the S5 at half the price of the Fender MX built Strat. Boy some day I would like to try that 10 you reviewed in this video.
I first heard of Marcus Miller in a guitar magazine ad for DR strings. It advertised various signature string sets they offered, and at the time, Marcus Miller had a signature set with DR. I believe that ad was also where I first heard of Bootsy Collins.
@@b_m3998 Still is the case ; just bought a Tokai MIJ SG for about the same price as a Gibson, just because it is better. Would be ideal if Gibson lets Tokai make their guitars.

I have a Sire S7 I have had now for about a little over a year and I love it. Incidentally it is the only Strat style guitar I own. Would definitely recommend it.
I always prefer a 12" radius because my first guitar was an Epiphone Les Paul. The feel of the neck on my Strat is great with the satin finish, but I definitely realized after a while that I prefer a more modern compound radius.
I have an S7 vintage that has been better than a MIM fender i used to have, and feels better than a few american strats I've played. No doubts that the S10 goes solid head to head with anerican strats. The rolled fretboards are awesome.

Don’t do it. Get the Fender. Especially if you’re like 99.9% of us guitar players and will sell it at some point. These things are impossible to sell when you want something different. And they’re nothing special to start with. Spend the same money and get the Fender.
I went into a large local guitar store 2 years ago intent on buying a semi hollow body gibson 335 style guitar with a $500 budget. I played at least thirty guitars and left with a $275 Ibanez that played at least as well as a real 335. I put a pair of seymour duncan hot rodded pickups in it, some G and B benders and a good setup and it plays and sounds amazing. I love it when guys with $3K+ guitars ask me what in the hell it is, and how does it sound that good. 😁

The only time an import truly challenged Fender and Gibson was the late 70’s. Tokai. The springy sound, breezy sound, and Les Paul reborn.
