I don't know what the comment in question was, but I suspect that it's not worth my time to go looking for it. Just keep being you and digging for music you love. Years ago I had a black co-worker who listened to country music almost exclusively. Whenever anybody asked him about it, he would say, "Just listen to it; it's BLUES!". And he's right. Blues and country music are inextricably linked. (I will confess that one year for Christmas I bought him a Stevie Ray Vaughan CD. He loved it. :) )

These guys were always great, but best seen and listened to live. I like the studio versions, but i prefer them live. Try One More from the Road, one of the best live albums ever.

I love that you get into the deeper cuts here, that other reactors haven’t. It’s hard to know which to recommend, because they’re also good, but maybe “was I right or wrong”, and “honky tonk nightTime man”…

You should think about listening to the entire Lyrnd Skyrd concert from Knebworth Park in 1976. That was one of the greatest. Also Elvis Presley did the Aloha Concert in 1973. He was the one and only king of rock and roll and had the equivalent of a state funeral when he died. He was loved by all.

I have all of the first edition albums by default, they're a Florida band so, we saw them at places like the state fair and the Strawberry Festival when albums were $6 and concerts were nine bucks!

I love my country, southern rock, blues & have always been huge Motown fan & that era of Temptations, Four Tops, Supremes, Spinners to Otis Redding & James Brown, my favorite probably has to be Al Green, I am white & my life would have been missing so much if someone said that wasn't my music.

Anyone that thinks negatively or any way racist against you or this channel, should think of what they stand for. If you think Skynyrd was racist then think again, they were proud of where they were from, but they weren’t racist. The band has a bad rap over that freakin flag, the record executives insisted they have it.
This music is American, not white or black or southern or northern… these guys were dirt poor and lived on the “other side of the tracks “ they only seen people as rich or poor.
Those guys would kick your ass if you pushed them, but they didn’t see color!
