Makita XDS01Z Cut Out Saw

I recently purchased the Makita XDS01Z Cut-Out Saw for drywall repair. I have been eyeballing this tool for some time and decided to pull the trigger.
In my limited use, the tool works as expected.

Man this is an awesome tool that really shines in the residential repair work. If mine breaks tomorrow another one will be ordered before the end of the day.
They sell a wood blade for it and I assume that's for plaster and lathe.
I have the blade set to 5/8 without the plate cover and find with the plate cover it cuts 1/2 without having to adjust the depth for the two most common rock thicknesses.
I find it does a good job with dust with the box, but there are 3d print adapters on Etsy for Festool hoses.

Most people like to stick to a particular tool brand for cost reasons. This is one of those tools that make you reconsider your choices. I have used it a few times and it works just as I envisioned it would. This tool may not be a need but it is very convenient. Thanks for taking the time to check out the video.

I like the look of this tool would prefer a better faster adjuster as on site here walls can be single or double boards 12.5 or 15mm in one area still might get one though because anything is better than a jab saw or multi tool
