@ماكس #No it wasn't that major. I cannot remember off the top of my head but it was more electrical issues I think
They're great cars. I've had mine nearly 4 years now. It's the best car I've owned so far. And I've owned a VW Golf & drove a Mercedes A Class before I bought my Giulietta. They were like playing video games by comparison; this is a real car.
I drove Guilietta QV before i drove Audi S3, Bmw m135i and Merc A250 Amg and unfortunately there is no comparison. In my opinion Guilietta is on the same level as Opel Astra, Renault Megane and Peugeot 308.

I bought one identical to this last year, and I love it - it’s a great car (my third Alfa). I can recommend getting a good Alfa specialist to service these - they need a bit of special attention at times - water pump and cambelt change is a must, and they need to be on decent tyres. Mine currently isn’t, and the handling and grip I know can be improved. The gear change is quite wonderful - mechanical feel, and the ‘metallic’ gear knob feels great to use. My only gripes are minor electrical niggles, and I wish that the engine sounded as good as the older 1.9 jtdm it was based on - my old 156 sounded much more rorty.
Rightly so, shame to see combustion engines get less and less exciting over the years
Can I ask your advice regarding how reliable is giulietta 2013-2016?
Are they same as ford or BMW or less reliable?
I really love how Alfa looks but definitely don't have money to spend on many repairs
@@NAKMUAYACADEMY bmw is horrible to maintain. Expensive parts and nothing more reliable.

@@angusscott6355 I bought a red 2013 Giulietta 1,4 liter at 120 HP that had 140 000 km milage. Got a new battery and motor belt before delivery and so far very satisified. Not needed much maintenance so far after half a year of daily driving! A lot of value for the money imo

I got my 2012 model in February, spent a lot of time fixing it and making cosmetic changes. Fabulous car. Flawed, but fabulous.

I'm going to look at a Lusso 61 plate. Asked about timing belt change. Dealer told me it's a chain. Any thoughts?
They have timing belts, not chains. Mine is a diesel and I've just had it changed. Recommended interval is 48,000 miles or 4 years.
If only insurance wouldn't be that expensice in the nerherlands for it 😂 also motortax is pretty high 😅
