Geez, brilliant analysis by Fieldman who says “we just don’t know” about Williams! Whew, the sharp insights and cutting edge evaluations. We won’t know anything until Williams actually plays some professional football games! If that’s your position, then Why make any comments about anyone? Just close up shop until the season starts! You could come to the same conclusions about every draft pick at every position: we just don’t know how it will all play out. Thanks for the tip!

I've been all-in on Caleb since the Bears lost to Browns, and I'm higher on him than ever, but Feldman's concern about Caleb handling ugly performances is technically warranted for all rookies, especially a #1 overall QB.
In college Caleb wasn't obligated to talk to the media twice a week in-season, but now he is. He wears his emotion on his sleeve and that's fine, but in his rookie year, I'm putting the burden on a veteran or 2/Flus/Shane/whomever to let Caleb release all his venting and frustration - behind the scenes. I think all rookies benefit when they are relatively quiet in the media. Go Caleb! Bear Down

Comparing Fieldman’s comments on Odunze and Williams makes no sense and shows his hypocrisy. He says everyone who ever spoke with or had interactions with Odunze raved about him, high character guy. Then, when he gets to Williams, instead of focusing on what people on the team (players and coaches) say about Williams, he talks about random NFL execs or coaches not connected to USC have said about Williams and ONLY cites the negative reviews. Everyone who has worked with Williams in and around football, raves about the kid, his leadership, his work ethic, his smarts, his love of football. Does Williams have some things to clean up in his play as an NFL QB. Sure. But that’s different than assessing the value of the Bears picking him at No1 and assessing his potential. Kinda of BS hit job IMHO

I really thought we’d be done with the vague “I’ve heard some things from anonymous sources…” soundbites that are a staple of lying season now that the draft is complete. Literally everything- EVERYTHING- we’ve heard from people who are willing to put their name on the record- including those no longer connected to him, and who do not benefit in any way by lying to cover something up- speaks to his commitment to the game, the work he puts in, and the things he does for his teammates and the other people around him.
Work ethic? This is the dude that was showing up at the 6am practices after explicitly being told freshmen don’t get to be in those practices.
He wears interesting clothes and had a GQ article? Have you looked at literally every pre-game facility entrance pictures/video that teams put out weekly? The players all treat that as a fashion show. Half the damn league likes to get all dripped out and show it off, but we single this ONE dude out?
I know you can’t control what your guests say, but you can choose whether or not their interviews actually end up being a part of the podcast. This is bottom feeder gossip BS that I’d expect from a podcast with 20 subscribers and 10 views, not Hoge & Jahns.

He had 7th round talent against a NFL type offense. Protect the man he’ll be fine. Never trusted this guy

Feldman doesn't know Caleb personally and he is questioning his character. That is bullshit!

He makes some valid points about Caleb. However, you can tell he's got something weird against him 😂

Today I learned, Bruce Feldman can't be trusted to watch the tape on players he is "analyzing."

Better to have no guest than a guest who gives you nothing but bad, old, long since debunked "arguments" that basically amount to character criticim.

Great stuff from Feldman. So funny to read these candy ass fans upset by professional and intelligent skepticism. All his points were valid, and Caleb will hopefully rise to the occasion
