Draft was a huge win for Chicago
Yes he gave us Velus Petis Pringle He sent out Roquan. He put a crap product on the field and about ran Tevin out of town. We got a lame duck coach who should have been fired. We will now ruin this rookie by starting him right away instead of getting a Tannehill to be a bridge. This moron Schrock Kaplan an a few more of these geniuses by the end of Oct will be screaming to fire Fluss. Chicago look to the North at the fudge Packers and how in 20 plus years 3 qbs to our 35 plus. Doing the same ignorant thing over and over us insanity. By the way remember Green Bay game who was on the field playing OL? Another year no offensive line

As a Lions fan I loved the Bears draft and the NFC North will be a dogfight for the next decade.
Now you are a true fan and not just blinded by your own team. And by fan I mean football fan. Yeah it’s great to have rivalry’s and all that but once it gets to cursing and fighting each other than those “fans” are just not right in the mind lol at the end of the day we both just want our teams to do great and hopefully see a dogfight of a game. Finally this is the first time in my life time it seems as the Bears really got it right. We have the Gm in place and the QB in place.Im a little worried about the coach. But we have an elite skill position group. A top 5-12 defense. 4 top 100 picks in next years draft and cap space. If the coach doesn’t get it right what coach wouldn’t be kicking the door down to get to Chicago. It’s a new day in Chicago…..Bear 🐻 TF ⬇️

Josh you are my compass on all things Bears. You other guys are right there with him no doubt. Hated Josh for giving up on Justin but i’m completely in now. Saw a nice 20 minute collection on Caleb working ‘on schedule’.. that plus how much he had to compensate for his Oline last year cleared the air on his ability to transition that release into the NFL.. But last year Josh, the only descending voice toward the end of camp on things not right with the Offense speaks for itself. So pleased with day 1 yesterday. Thank you guys.

The only thing I’ll add is Bears need to add another pass rusher not just they could use another. The 2 picks are what I wanted but would like to trade up to the 2nd for a pass rusher or take JPJ. If we don’t take pass rush that will 100% be a need next year.
I hope they trade back into 2nd and get a jpj or Newton. Next years draft is suppose to be the best for DE's

Gotta let that go JF1 was casualty of bad timing. To get here Poles had to tear down fix past mistakes and to no fault of his own JF1 was a casualty of that.

You guys addressed two really good points that I haven't heard even on national media coverage - what would the Bears have done if Odunze wasn't there at 9 and what are possible reasons that could have prompted Falcons to take Penix (tampering and achilles recovery). Great job.

Odunze fell mostly due to circumstances with the crazy QB run and teams having other needs. And maybe slightly due to his perceived lack of elusive speed or YAC as they say. But to me I think he’s gonna be an excellent WR1 value player. Watching his all attempts and catches vid you see he is basically unstoppable just not a huge mid range YAC guy. Plus as has been said a tremendous individual. Go 🐻!

I forget who said it, but if you listen to the fans, you'll be sitting with the fans, Poles had tough, smart decisions to make, yea, we ate it on the Claypool deal, but, trading away to get draft capital, to where we are at now.... think Poles is doing great... hopefully it leads to several SB wins, not just 1, Caleb says he is chasing TB12... cause thats the bar...

Good draft for he Bears. The Falcons was a head scratcher, maybe they only keep Kirk for 2 years-I don't know the details of his contract. That will give Penix time to heal and learn at the same time. Maybe Josh is right about the NFL punishment or the injury being worst ala KWhite? Or they probably lose 1st round pick next year, either of the many way- it is a mystery. Bear Down!
Love what Poles did on day 1. I'm greedy though, and hope he's able to trade up just enough to get Kneeland at DE today in round 2. If that's too expensive though, then hopefully either Braswell or Isaac fall to #75. Don't touch the 1st or 2nd round picks next year though, only 3rd or below.
The idea CW18 had any say about who Poles picked is hilarious. Speaking as if speculation is fact seems to be most of sports media now.

I was hoping Turner at 9. Bears have 4th qtr defense problem. How many games were lost in the 4 th qtr the last 2 years? Vikings are going to be a bigger problem then Packers.
Good point, but consider this: Instead of guarding a fragile lead with a prevent defense, the Bear now have the firepower to just keep scoring points and forcing the other team to keep up.
