I use a solvent with my colored pencils, specifically Gamsol. I love the intensity of color that it fosters, though I do admit that I add a lot of layers to give it depth. For those pieces, I use Arches Hot Press watercolor paper and it has worked very well. But if anyone wants to try it, be sure to allow that solvent to dry between layers. I found out the hard way that adding a colored pencil layer while it's still wet is bad news. I'm really intrigued by the white pencil blending and plan on trying it. Thanks so much for the video. The TH-cam videos I've seen so far assume as given that you'd want to blend your colour pencils to make the result look like a painting. But if I wanted a painting, I'd just paint, I wouldn't pick up coloured pencils. It would be lovely to find colour pencil artists who let the paper texture show through the pencils as part of their art and don't use blending. If anyone has come across such artists, please tell me too. Fab tutorial, by the way. And congrats on the 300K subs, you so deserve it!!!

I use Fabel Castle Colour pencils(48 set) they are really good to blend. I recommend you guys to use it Though I think it might be a bit expensive? You guys should check it out
