From someone who served 12 years in the army with several deployments I am embarrassed.
I am also embarrassed and America is the laughing stock of the entire world
I left the Army in 2015. It was already softening up, but it really went off a cliff the following year. I will say that we are still the military power... but that's because of our Navy and Airforce. Our jets and naval capabilities alone are the reason we could take on the world in a war. So as it stands, the only reason we're still here is because of our military budget and technology. It's a sad truth.

It's always a different story with the Marines though. They're always doing their own thing. My favorite one was the Russian one because it's basically setting your expectations accurately. Doesn't matter where you came from, this ain't that. When you're here, you're committed to it.

Lots of soft marines. Compare any Semper Fu blackbelt to any 16 year old jiu-jitsu phenom. The kid wins over 900 engagements out of 1000. Blackwater can't fight. Rangers can't fight. Force recon are OK on the ground. Seals can't fight at all. Swcc can't fight. None of them can shoot unless they're specifically snipers. Especially under returned fire.
Look at what North Koreas troops can do. There isn't a single soldier in the US military who can do one of those feats. And that's not ok, but the WEF have basically conquered this nation, while yall STILL watch football and Hollywood.

There are still units that have real bad-a$$ mofos, like the Rangers, Special Forces, SEALs, etc. I'm sure that eventually there will be massive political pressure to make sure those units are more 'inclusive' and their effectiveness will be compromised as well.
When the signs of change started showing itself, many combat born, senior leaders, and even junior leaders saw this coming. Some made the decision and ride the wave until retirement. Many did not see the point on serving what now is the SOFTEST military possible. The Army is more focused on welcoming the woke BS. Countries that want to take over the US does not give two fat ones over a "soldiers" feelings. Even those that joined in the last 10 years that truly wanted to kick down doors, left because it's over ran by feelings. People lose rank if the F-bomb is dropped and someone got their feelings hurt. NCO Corps? It has no meaning or purpose anymore. Doesn't exist. You have people with stripes and have no damn clue what it means to be Non Commissioned Officer. God forbid we ever have another conflict. I will call it now. More then 60% of the force have a permanent profile. 10% will get pregnant intentionally. 10% will suddenly become depressed. 10% will AWOL. 10% will miss movement. The Army as whole won't be able to handle the stress of War and CONSTANT F-bombs and fun friendly shit talking down range. Or the sick sense of humor you develope just to stay sane. It's done. It's over.
