I would like to thank Luke for the lovely items he has gifted you as well, I think that's special when people do that. You are a caring individual Luke. Cheers
Hello Michel. Such an astonishingly generous gift from Luke. You have no excuse now not to measure correctly. As for your “useless project” may I say I was hooked from the beginning. 👏👏👍😀
Hi Michel ☺, another nice little project in the making, and your attention to measuring showed up a problem, which I'm sure you will figure out what's happened to the shaper, and a shout out to Luke for his generous gifts, thanks for the video mate, enjoy your wkend, best wishe's to you and your's, Stuart UK.
A fidget widget is always useful in keeping me entertained, I like it. Simple people like simple things. Especially the child at heart. Can't wait to see it done
I'm running out of projects to make and things like this are the sorts of stuff that has been floating around in my head, looking forward to seeing how it comes out. It never ceases to amaze me the generosity of some of our viewers. 👍
Cool. After watching your shaper work ive started making some shaper tools to utilise the table more. Much more satisfying to work on a project. Also started using it to finish stock to size clamped to the vee notch on the table side.
Useless project, useful workshop therapy! It's a pitty you turned doen those cams, I think they could have been used to added a useless moving feature LOL! Great video!
Nice video Michel, an interesting project, I made one years ago , but I was never satisfied at its operation, seems my useless project is kind of useless on its own right! I am certain yours will work perfectly. Cheers friend!
Hi Michel another great video again 👍 full of information and humour, it was very kind of Luke to donate the workshop tools to you and I am sure you will put them to good use. I will be looking forward to your next instalment on your new project with anticipation as always 😀 regards Gary UK
Michel please give my address to Luke. I am ready to adopt such a good package haha I'm joking of course. Since I bought the new little lathe I immediately bought a few measuring instruments and now I have a nice little measuring collection. Without measuring devices, it is not possible to do precise things...
Rusti, that's obviously not a foot-powered device. Perhaps you could call it 0.3 meter-powered instead? Just a thought, Whatever you call it I'm looking forward to seeing more of it.
G'day Rusty. This so called " Useless Project looks like a Spinning Wheel. So do we change your name to Rumple Stiltskins, & who will the Damsel be to Spin the Yarn .. 😅😅😅
It's not useless if it brings you (and us) joy 😁 Very generous of Luke too, those are some nice tools he shared.
Yep, Luke is a very kind person.
The oil company's will either buy you out or shut you down , can't have engines that don't use oil ! Nice measuring tools as well . Cheers . 👍

Hey Michel, what is the make of the extra large dial indicator used on the surface plate?
Enjoyed this weeks update.
It's a German made "KÄFER".

Thanks.
Lets see if it is useless when it is finished. I'm sure you can have some fun with it.
I think so too.
Obligatory algorithm boost 👍👍
