This car is proof that if we let Chinese car makers to build factories in India, that day will mark the death anniversary of Tata, Maruti and Mahindra officially.
Wow... if you cannot develop then don't let others to develop as well... this is the crab mentality that Indians are famous for.. which is why we will always be at the bottom.
@@gurdeepsidhu1999 these cars cost that much only because of their high import duty taxes…otherwise this exact car costs less than 35 Lakhs in mostly South Asian markets like Thailand, Indonesia, etc…!
It's for context as I mentioned. So everyday people can figure what the real size of the car is. There is nothing like it in the market as of now, and I compared it with its closest competition the Ioniq too.
@@motoroids : Ummm… I won’t say it’s a complete Apple and oranges. Maybe you could say apple and custard apple. Why? Because one is a complete battery powered while the other is half petrol and half battery powered. But the more important thing to consider here is that it’s people like you and I who knows there’s a difference between an EV and hybrid. But for layman or people from our parents era, all they care is the money they are spending on a car. And given the price bracket of ₹50 lacs, which car should be a better ans sensible option - Seal or Camry?
Key difference is people who are willing to rely entirely on charging networks vs those who still want fuel. In that sense it's still petrol vs electric
@@motoroids : Well, if you go by the key differences which basically is you asking to go technical route that an average common person isn’t much aware of, EVs obviously have an upper hand over hybrids. And those who knows those key differences, would definitely look out for the charging infrastructure before signing the deal. But I think for the majority of the population (in the given segment) and the kind of charging infrastructure we have it here, hybrids are more practices and sensible choice over EVs. IMO EVs are still a novelty for the Indian market.

If you like paying more for mediocre cars, yes we should have protectionism.

Really enjoy ur reviews...onwards and upwards...
Glad you like them!
Good review. Why other car manufacturers not able to produce such a gem. Seal U will also be a big hit. If it is locally produced then ....😅
Byd should launch another suv as good as this sedan or even better!
Yes, but they won't
There is a suv model of the seal called seal u
Check out the BYD Sea Lion... Waiting for that
Nice review sir. Thank you ☺️
Welcome!
Bro ioniq 5 ka wheel base 3000mm hai aur byd seal ka 2920mm. To ioniq 5 se long kaise hui.
Wheelbase isn't equal to length. Some cars with shorter wheelbase can be longer overall with longer bodies and lengthier overhangs
Nice review 👌

It has a memory function
Yes, it's on the screen. Our bad
Really really really really

Skoda Superb's length is 4,869 mm, Skoda Octavia's length is 4,689 mm, and the Seal's length is 4,800 mm.
While the Verna is 4,535 mm.

Ummm...shouldn't Toyota Camry be a better choice than Seal at this price point?
Electric VS hybrid. Apple & Orange?

Answer is Camry in today's scenario
