On my 95 Vet? I had an early version of, "Drive flats,' which absolutely saved my life! I've had a flat tire in a bad neighborhood, with 3 other girls, and a PD had pulled up next to us, and I pointed down to the tire that I was monitoring, to keep us from driving off the tire, and onto the rims. I had flagged him down, to aid us! Instead, he sped off! We had screamed, crying for help, I was leaning halfway out of the car on the old Highway, desperate to get to a better area! This area was known for finding girl's bodies, raped, murdered! We were scared for our lives!! So, we had to continue driving like this, until we found a gas station, who could put the spare tire on! I'm going to check my little tire on my 83 car, make certain that it's working!

If you have a family member that disappears and they were in their vehicle and that vehicle is never found after a year or so it is highly likely they are submerged in a body of water. For a vehicle plate to not be ran, vehicle not be spotted, VIN never pop up somewhere in a computer system is very rare. Cops run tags and plates all day long, for no one to spot the vehicle somewhere at some point, for the VIN not pop up in a system such as DMV ( Is like someone trying to register a vehicle they may have been stolen or something like that) I eould put money that they are i b a body of water. Especially if it's been like 10 or 15 years with no sightings of person, no sighting of vehicle, tag run and so on....
That's incorrect, there's specific guidelines to when an incident report needs to be made like crime committed, injury, etc. There's also criteria for what constitutes a reportable accident. Owners were obviously contacted, they were uninjured, and it was a single car incident with no damage to property other than the vehicle itself. It would be a non reportable accident in my area.
@ajcollins8849 depends on the agency's SOPs. In my city, we wouldn't unless the owner asked us to which typically they don't. Thanks to you all for goingin and checking the truck and thanks for the folks reporting on it. Better to check and have it be empty than not to check and have it not be. Happy New Years, all!
I watch most of your shows and appreciate the care and consideration you all give the deceased and families. Now, what I’m not a fan of is click bait. This is one of several titles that seems more like click bait than not.
This is so unbelievably that the law officers would not check on this pickup. And the red color is so bright real close to the top of the water. Thanks for looking into this.
Nobody's dead. That's a good thing. It would have been gut-wrenching to think that help was so close by but they just couldn't locate them and meanwhile they died. It is good to see you Jared.
Great Job as usual and Jarrod this movement you started has been the best thing to happen ❤ anyone who has issues are usually unhappy people. Keep up the great work and Happy New Year's 🎉
That’s a Ford F250 Lariat, pretty pricy truck. The tools indicate he might be in construction. I think this was intentional, the guy probably could t afford the payments on the truck so maybe he is claiming it as stolen.
I moved from troy mo which is 30 minutes from there last dec my dads family lives there ive lived n mo most of my life glad u had good weather thanks all 4 what u do luv all may the lord b with all
It isn’t cheap or easy to just pull a truck out of a pond. It’s the owners responsibility to take care of it. If they don’t choose to it’s a legal matter. Not the crews responsibility to go around pulling vehicles out that don’t have victims in them.
I'm 6 mins in and im happily blow away by the due diligence this civilization had! This is an unfortunately great experience of if you see something say something. Luckily everyone made it out. I could only hope that the local police department that respond to the accident would dive down and secure someone
FYI trucks of this size in Missouri may be running a front license plate only. At a certain size they figure will be pulling trailer a lot so don’t issue a rear license plate.
So did they left the truck under water?, because owners couldn't affford? What about good to the environment thing? Probably it doesn't apply to the poor this privilege is for the rich only! I still don't know how insurance companies work in the US but here across the pond it's their duty to recover everything no matter what, its not take, take, take and give nothing.
I drive by there weekly, not daily, but often. Does all sound a bit fishy, doesn't it? Especially just leaving the tools, although I guess if they are electronic tools, the water would have ruined them anyway. I guess that is why Jared asked if there were any hand tools to recover??
Imagine calling the police for help & when they show up they decide its too cold & wet to save you. So they stand around & talk until its been too long for you to survive & then they just go home & don't even file a report after watching your final moments. On top of that they charged the county $ just to show up & do so!
Something doesn't sound right to me 🤔. So the police showed up to the scene of an auto accident and their intention is to leave the vehicle there forever because the owner can't afford to tow it 🤔 On this side of 🇺🇸 The police will tow, impound & charge storage fees. They don't care, nor does it matter how much $ you have or don't have. You still get a Bill!
@@BigEd684yea thats what i was thinking. U cant just leave ur vehicle parked on the street forever so why in the water? It needs to come out before more ppl keep calling about it.

He said they saw a truck. It's not stated as a fact.
And welcome to TH-cam.. Lol
@GanymedeXD I can't debate someone's opinion on something. If that's how you feel, then that's how you feel. I get it.. It's just not a deal for me.
Probably a set up for insurance
Thanks to you all for goingin and checking the truck and thanks for the folks reporting on it. Better to check and have it be empty than not to check and have it not be. Happy New Years, all!
Yes agreed, thank You!!
🖤💜💙💚💙💜🖤
Much Love!!
I watch most of your shows and appreciate the care and consideration you all give the deceased and families.
Now, what I’m not a fan of is click bait. This is one of several titles that seems more like click bait than not.
Thank you guys for what you do!!
Sounds like a stolen dump. Glad you got wind of it to check on it.
This is so unbelievably that the law officers would not check on this pickup. And the red color is so bright real close to the top of the water. Thanks for looking into this.
Phone call to police department is at 22:20 The owners got out. First responders were all at the accident right after it happened.
Nobody's dead. That's a good thing. It would have been gut-wrenching to think that help was so close by but they just couldn't locate them and meanwhile they died. It is good to see you Jared.
Awsome nobody was in there and freat diving Dan. Great search guys bless you.
Great Job as usual and Jarrod this movement you started has been the best thing to happen ❤ anyone who has issues are usually unhappy people. Keep up the great work and Happy New Year's 🎉
Shoutout to down under Dan!
This is an interesting case, that ended in a good situation, with the driver getting to safety
AWP…doing what they do the best. God bless you guys.
That’s a Ford F250 Lariat, pretty pricy truck. The tools indicate he might be in construction. I think this was intentional, the guy probably could t afford the payments on the truck so maybe he is claiming it as stolen.
My thought as well
You're right, F 250 Lariat is a big ticket truck
I moved from troy mo which is 30 minutes from there last dec my dads family lives there ive lived n mo most of my life glad u had good weather thanks all 4 what u do luv all may the lord b with all
I thought I saw you guys!!!! I drove past you while filming this video! Sorry but I Soo had a mark out moment! Was a cool as shit moment!

😊
Your team are such a blessing
Does the window breaker ship Internationally? as a flatbed recovery driver, it'd be a handy tool to have!
The people that have been found has to help the families so much. Not knowing has to be hard !
Merry Christmas AWP , friends , and supporters !
Merry Christmas to you, also !!
❤
😊
Good luck today, Jared… 12/29/23
Hi, Dan. It was ❤great to see you.
What matters is the exit of this vehicle out of water to keep the cleanness of the river and preserve the water quality and life
probably an off duty cop driving drunk, went off the road. they took the plates off and left it there, filed it as “stolen” and closed the case.
We appreciate all that you guys are doing out there so stay safe and Happy New year.
Great job again Jared and Dan.
Either way they shouldn't let the truck stay underwater. Bad for the environment. Gas and oil. Bring it out.
It isn’t cheap or easy to just pull a truck out of a pond. It’s the owners responsibility to take care of it. If they don’t choose to it’s a legal matter. Not the crews responsibility to go around pulling vehicles out that don’t have victims in them.
Easier said then done
I'm 6 mins in and im happily blow away by the due diligence this civilization had! This is an unfortunately great experience of if you see something say something. Luckily everyone made it out. I could only hope that the local police department that respond to the accident would dive down and secure someone
FYI trucks of this size in Missouri may be running a front license plate only. At a certain size they figure will be pulling trailer a lot so don’t issue a rear license plate.
Thank you both for you always have a beautiful heart ❤
Jerard you are truly a blessing from God and the rest of the crew I love yall
I bought 10 window breakers and handed them out for Christmas. My husband is a police officer. You can never be too prepared!
Thank you!
Glad their safe and sound , now someone needs to drag it out and do a will it run and drive video lol.
These guys have more about them than any police i know. ❤
Wow, I drive right by that pond nearly every day going to and from work and had no idea that had happened.
So the police showed up to the scene of an auto accident and their intention is to leave the vehicle there forever because the owner can't afford to tow it 🤔
On this side of 🇺🇸 The police will tow, impound & charge storage fees. They don't care, nor does it matter how much $ you have or don't have. You still get a Bill!
@@BigEd684yea thats what i was thinking. U cant just leave ur vehicle parked on the street forever so why in the water? It needs to come out before more ppl keep calling about it.
Jared you and your team do a absolute fantastic job with looking for people who have gone missing over the years and found a lot of people and we will definitely miss them if anything happens to Jared a huge thank you Jared and the team
❤ watching you guys let's me know there's truly great people left in this world. Thank you and may or lord aways be with you
