      I don't know nothing about flim making but I have a hobby to complete the movie.i watch lot of movie/series after finishing watching the movie/series line goes on my mind again and again.     Even just these 2 minutes race my heartbeat. This man is stunningly motivating.
    And for all the techniques he may share, never forget that it was his determination and insistence and unmitigated refusal to settle for "ordinary" that produced the highest selling movie in all of history.
    And yet he proceeded to do just that -- *AGAIN.* That's like Hank Aaron hitting another 800 home runs.

      @@rolandolopez7540 My point is that these films should have been made sooner. Remember when J.C. first started working on the sequels ? Yeah me neither... it's THAT long ago. OK it's a huge undertaking that takes a lot of preparation, and even most people will have forgotten about the original film by now. I can imagine these not coming even close to the box office success of the first, viewing habits have changed too since 2009. Even I hardly go to the theatre anymore, but that's because I have my own at home haha.

    I read that he’s the Steve Jobs of filmmaking in terms of attitude towards employees. That being said, if I was an actor I’d still want to work with him. This man can direct a fucking movie.

      Steven Spielberg and Tarantino were under the microscope for a VERY Long Time... if they walk into a room filled with film lovers, they can only learn about themselves and who they are... they wont be able to teach anything that the audience didn't already know BTW Spielberg already has two Fans in the big league JJ Abrams and Michael bay... but the next Tarantino is a hard one to find

    I just looked a bit at the lessons list, and this looks crazy good. My love of film leans most toward the writing aspect, and there looks to be some on his mentality toward character development, but not in the cheesy standard way we're already familiar with hearing. There's quite a few specific scene breakdowns, of scenes we all know, where he discusses various things at length, relating to the craft. This may be one of the better "great to learn from" on the film making list of theirs. Glad this is finally here.

    Man, i see terminator and terminator 2 and still get goose spoons. See Aliens 2 and The Abyss and get chills. Watch Avatar and my jaw drops once more for the visuals! His films are timeless! That's for sure!

      it just proves that the most powerful thing a person can have is an idea a dream and just do something and everything else will fall into place as long as the passion is there. a lot have dreams but don't act on it. as long as an individual is determined there is no stoping him or her, forget where you wanna be and work on now and pick paths that will lead you bo where you wanna be.

    I wish we could have scene breakdowns from The Abyss and True Lies. The scenes that could be easy picks for breakdowns are the encounter with the water tentacle and the helicopter bridge scenes.

    I've been around since the 90's, I've seen "one-hit wonder" directors come, go and flop. But I have not yet seen another director like James Cameron. Big Fan since The Abyss, cannot wait for the sequel Avatar 2.

    James Cameron one of the best directors in the industry today, because he doesn’t compromise his artistic vision for any studio, he makes the movies he wants to make and the end result are amazing movies, Avatar and Avatar The Way of Water, Aliens are prime examples of this 👏👏👏👏

      Titanic was a chick flick that a lotta dudes enjoyed as well and T2 was a dude movie that had heart and one of the best female protagonists in film. It's what made them great.

    Looking forward to checking out this masterclass, if you’re a huge Cameron fan like me, I received a superb biography about him called The Futurist, it was fantastic it charts his career from making films as a kid with his brother up until the release of Avatar.
