@@honesthamish5334 If Toyota makes their cars very reliable especially the Corolla and Camry then you can imagine how reliable a 3x more expensive car like this LC500 can be. I think Lexus poured all of their knowledge into this to make it as long lasting as possible while bringing the performance up to a level that they can be called performance cars.
One of the downside is that it is slow. Imagine driving a beauty like this and get left in the dust by an Audi rs5 or m4, but I get it.....it is a grand touring car but I would have loved if the 0 - 60 was under 4 seconds.

My first Lexus was in 1991/2/3 in the shape of the LS400's & even an SC400 Soarer. 130 cars later, I still can't believe how beautifully built the Lexus LC500 is let alone what a total peach it is to look at (inside & out) and of course drive. If I had a fiver for evertime I caught somone just staring and admiring the design and saying "I've never seen one before", I'd have quite a few free fill-ups. It's not the fastest or the best handler but with everything else going for it, who cares? If you do, then move along.....
It's a beautiful looking car, with respect that kind of money I would have to have full leather interior. Also for the resale value as they depreciate massively. I own a RC300H, top spec and love it. A white LC500 passed me yesterday, coming the other way, it looked amazing.
I had exactly the same spec but the V6 hybrid for a few days and it’s hands down the best car I’ve ever driven. It’s road presence is immense. Enjoy!!! 👍
yeh it may have tainted the appearance slightly in some peoples opinion 😂 those are the Keys to my daily driver which I probably should have taken out for the video in hindsight 👍
What do you get more in the sport plus package over the mid sport? Did you drive it in the snow that we had too how did it cope? Also how does it fare over town driving ?tks
More BHP and some extra options with spec for the interior... I didnt as the weather was pretty nice when driving it.. driving through towns was seamless.. no sharp acceleration's, smooth and fuel economy was that of a smart car! Brilliant 👍😁
The German can extract more power out of similar displacement and they produce immense power from their latest turbocharged engines but... when it comes to reliability, lexus, Toyota are way ahead. I want to spend my free time with the family and not spending it sending my German car to the dealer garage.
Your correct there regarding the technology nothing is quite like it! Precise and concise! As to whether it's pointless spending money on big name brands I would say they're all different and appealing in there own right so I can honestly say I would spend more money on certain brands as certain aspects of each car warrant spending more than some other cars!
The infotainment system apparently isn't easy or great to use when driving what's your experience living with it? Also how do you find the fuel mpg. Nice car review thanks.
Yeh correct the infotainment isnt comparable with MBUX of Mercedes or iDrive of BMW but it's not horrendous just room for improvement... as for the MPG you wont find a car of this calibre with a better MPG.. unbelievable in fact.. great car to have fun in but also do a daily commute. Yes, it’s not quick car - only a 4.4 sec 0-60. But it’s not built for the drag strip. It’s a heavy luxury grand tourer. But test drive one for kicks. The driving characteristics makes up for the slower sprint. It’s not just a one trick pony

Yes, it’s not quick car - only a 4.4 sec 0-60. But it’s not built for the drag strip. It’s a heavy luxury grand tourer. But test drive one for kicks. The driving characteristics makes up for the slower sprint. It’s not just a one trick pony
