- Sunderrajan (Poovulagin Nanbargal) is an Environmentalist. In this interview Sunderrajan (Poovulagin Nanbargal) speaks about Thoothukudi "Anti - Sterlite Protest".
Sterlite's troubles deepened as early as March this year when tens of thousands of protesters marched demanding closure of the factory. On April 9, the pollution control board rejected the company's application to renew a Consent To Operate licence on the basis of five deficiences in managing and monitoring pollution at the plant.
