Haha I hope we don’t disappoint, we have about a TB to edit. But most is Courtney from the passenger seat. Working on some additional filming so we can tell the story for each day
I want to make sure it’s conveyed in the videos… this is not our regular type of trip haha. I don’t really enjoy pushing the truck that hard that long. BUT, we all did it, and we didn’t even bust out a winch. The fire was wild. So far it looks as though everyone is ok. I hope nobody needs to get evacuated or lose a home. That would be horrible
One of my wife's fears is wild fire even though I am a retired volunteer and have some knowledge of fire behavior. Cracks me up. Looks like an interesting series to watch!
I’ve always had a passion for firefighting but never pursued it. (For now) it’s was amazing how fast you have to learn when your running into it. I have a lot of respect for you!
And that fire sits at 15217.25 acres and 0% contained this morning :( you guys did your best for sure and hope those 2 idiots get what is coming to them
Looking forward to this. You guys are awesome for jumping into action. From the short footage I saw, with winds and uphill terrain the cards were stacked against you. Without you and your group this would have burned and grown so much larger before resources got to it.
It’s fight or flight, 2 of our team are active firefighters and 1 retired, the rest of us don’t shy away from anything. I didn’t even have time to think until the helicopters pulled in, and we walked out. I have time stamps and in only 10 min it went from a big brush fire to totally down the canyon! For me it puts a totally different perspective on the outdoor life
Amazing guys!! Can't wait to see the full feature!!
Man, who would have thought right??
I’m really excited to see the rest of this! Certainly looks top shelf to me!

@@ChambersFamilyOverland that’s a crazy amount of footage!
First, glad y'all are safe! Second, yes!!! haha you deserve top shelf status! Can't wait for this series!
It’s crazy how fast it can go from laughing and playing to fight or flight mode
Now that's a thumbnail you can't recreate. Crazy. So glad you all made it out safe!
Man, honestly never in 100 years did I think we’d be hands on in a situation like that!
Wow you guys are involved in some serious off-roading. Oh I just saw the fire. Hope everyone was ok. I’m guessing not so good for the wildlife. 👍

I was working that fire 4 days ago but I had to have emergency surgery on my appendix. It was my first fire run.
Thank you for what you do and we wish you a speedy recovery!
@@ChambersFamilyOverland thank you!
Cant wait!
We just did a big thing for day 1. Because the entire trip was go go go the footage is a bit drawl. So trying to setup more of a story for you guys
@@ChambersFamilyOverland did they get the fire under control yet?
