"I Don't Love Nobody" - Katrina Nicolayeff - Camp Sumner Sessions

- This was the very first tune that kicked off the jams at Camp Sumner on Saturday night after the competition was over. "I Don't Love Nobody" is a popular contest tune of choice, but this is an extended improvisation that one would not hear played in any contest in America that enforced the 4 or 5 minute time limit rule. (There is no time limit at Camp Sumner.)

Actually, Raphael, I think your words were appropriately descriptive and well chosen. Takes years of dedication to achieve that "juice" and flow and Katrina has most certainly put in her time. A lefty playing a righty fiddle, how AWESOME!... but no matter how she's doing it, she's doing it great! And of course I love the song, this was the first song I ever learned on the guitar.
Agreed, Joel. There's a reason why this tune is heard so often at fiddle contests and jam sessions...It's a classic. Nothing like a great tune, played by a great fiddler, backed up by great rhythm.

CoDRagna on a scale, just being able to play the fiddle jumps a girl ahead a couple points..haha... a couple more if she plays well.. and, shes already a 10 if she plays well, and does twin fiddle...
Why was the violin family evolved and strung with the high e(violin ) or high a ( viola and cello )or g ( double bass )high g with the right handed bowing and left hand fingerings/shifting making it adjacent to the high positions by being near the left hand fingers ?
