Katrina! wow! love it! My question for you is who is your mother? I am thinking Roberta Pierce, from Nampa, Idaho? I knew her from weizer, Idaho.... national fiddle contest and the Idaho Old time fiddlers. I think she had a daughter Katrina who became a great fiddler also. Am I close? anyways love your talent. I have been playing for years but you have ascended way beyond me even though I still love trying! My favorite quote from Johnny Gimble is "if you try to play like someone else, who will play like you?"

Have you ever played a specifically made left handed fiddle? Just wondering if having got used to the strings of a right handed fiddle weather a left handed model would throw you out a bit. I ask because I’m left handed and teaching myself to play.

I played a left handed fiddle once, many years ago. It was strung backwards. I gave it a good honest try and after a very short time playing it, I wanted to throw it against a wall🤣 The best of luck to you learning to play the fiddle!
