Just want you to know the first minute and 30 seconds of this video fixed my main struggle immediately. Been playing league for about 2 months, thought I'd watch am adc guide as its my worst role and you immediately showed my largest struggle and explained how to fix it.
Watching you has never been a boring experience. Every coaching video teaches me something new or shows me that when I "thought" I was playing correctly, I actually wasn't. I've got a lot to work on as an ADC after this!

I think he moves to the top side of the lane because of the locked camera view. I think he gets better vision there on them.
The reason why bot lane looks like "the dumbest motherf***ers" in the game most of the time is, that there is an entire phase in the game called the "mid game", "team fighting phase", "grouping phase" or whatever you'd like to call it. And for everyone else on the map, top, jungle and mid, it starts at some later point during the game, whereas with bot lane it starts right at "minute one". Communicating with someone and being in tune with one another about such an enormously complex and dynamic situation like what is going on on bot lane is neigh impossible. You'd have to find a lane partner that is exactly thinking like you do. It's like with dancing. Someone has to take the lead and the other has to follow. If both try to lead they're bound to step on each other's toes and they start to trip and maybe complain and yell at each other and lose trust and then it's just a downward spiral from there on. If both try to follow the lead of the other it's just all awkward because they just wait and stare at each other and just nothing happens. Even not committing to something you deem as being the wrong play can easily feel wrong to you because you know you're letting your mate down here and you have no idea how they're going to take it. And it's not like with the jungler where you're like "okay probably they're not coming back all too soon after this" it's your lane partner and if they don't come back for some time you're just really really screwed.
And for that sole reason, either role on bot lane, be it adc or support, are the trickiest roles to play. Because you have to be a "good dancing partner" to make it work.

I think what should be the takeaways is "focus on yourself" and "you don't need to win every fight to win". Like you said, he seems to be trying to take every fight, objective because his team is there.
I think he had the capability to learn he just needs to put everything into action.
That is wild. I’ve watched like 6 of your coaching videos and I’m already playing better. I’ve watched a lot of videos about wave management (I’m kinda talking about another video now) but your idea about being on offense and defense really made it click for me.

My assumption is that it’s based on habit and they subconsciously do it. Sometimes stuff is so ingrained in our brain that it takes a lot to overtake the urge to do something you’re used to doing

ill be like "yo kha is coming, stay in the minions" he like "nah" then he kites back and khazix Qs him isolated and he dies
next match adc is farming bot, nobodyy enemy team on the map, thejungler turns and says "yo ill fuck this drag up" adn im like "watch out. they're all missing and coming from base, probably gonna collapse". he likke "nah"
20secs later hes dead and he gave dragon and they collapsed on bot
like it's ijust dumb fucking stupid egos getting in the way of these personifications of the dunning kruger effect learning anything in this god damn game

All this botlane bashing is actually gross. If there is one lane that is under constant pressure then it is bot. Constant creep trading, csing under threat and the enemy jungler is permanently eyeing you for a play. And then a lot of supports are control mages with burst or all-in tank that can delete your duo within one engage. And even after falling behind which can come from one minor mistake everyone expects you to carry mid and late game. And if not? Well, you're getting reported.

As an ADC, I think about changing roles everyday. It’s gruesome.
Wrong ,midlaner is under most pressure ,this idea the jungler only watches duo is idiotic ,midlaner is the most harassed by jg ,botlane is not the hardest lane you literally get a fkn supp
@@kozmiic You get a supp bot lane as the other adc. And the supp is not supposed to permanently babysit the adc and neither is bot lane all about the adc. The support is under a similar pressure as the adc. Now add up the pressure and your assertion falls apart. In mid you can also play relatively safe waveclear champions and hug tower and your lane won't fall apart. If you lose lvl 2 in bot you will likely lose the lane. It is really hard to get back into the game from a lvl 2 fk up for TWO players instead of only ONE in mid lane. And if the enemy jungler is able to recognize that he will snowball off that lane forcing your mid and/or top to assist and concede at least one turret.
I might as well argue that jungle is mid lane's supp. And many pro's agree with me on that. But really, not the hill I would die on. Believe what you want.
@@kozmiicmid is literally the easiest role in the game, you don't have to worry about wave states at fucking all, and the reason you don't need a support is because you have escape tools as well as the shortest lane, so if you have half a brain it's easy to back off.

The nexus tower 1v2 was a great positioning example where they went ooga booga illegal mode and they get hard punished VS a rule following player. Almost 0 skill to punish em, just positioning

4:00 Its actually really bad to continue on the lux here, ashe needs lethal tempo stacks before she has good kill time, and the lux simply takes too long to die with shields and only an alistar giving extra dmg, a better choice would of been to get a few lethal tempo stacks on lux, kite back and then just trade autos with vayne for a bit, alistair wont die very quick and shaco was nearby so this would of been a really good chance to kill them. Generally whenever an all in happens bot and you don't have immediate and safe kill threat, you begin targeting the enemy adc since they are the one with dps threat/rune stacks which you cant ignore
You also have to take into an account the wave state, you just backed to have a really good wave pushing into you, but your death just meant you lost close to 20 cs, this is way worse than missing out on a kill by playing too safe.

I think a lot of low elo bot players have an issue of trying to roam in mid team fights. If your early laning phase was shite, why risk death when you could hard shove lane then look for an ambush later. A lot of gold to diamond bot players tend to rotate into team fights they feel obligated to join bc their opp is there. Depends on the situation, but resources are worth more than taking 50/50 fights. Especially if you’ve done poor in early laning.
Yea a nice fundamental tip is to use abilities. Ashe has E the most broken abilty in the game and he doesnt use it

Where? I can see Ashe E on cooldown for 10 minutes. Ashe E must be used every time is up across the whole map

Ash is a strong champion but can be extremely fragile. Depending on your support, you can be early aggressive overall and should play passively.

key thing bout play adc is that you need to be good or great at dodging cc or skill shots or else u might as well just afk in fountain. against a good comp one cc is all they need to kill you.

As a support player I absolutely hate zero balls adcs that never pressure, never trait and then flame me when I go roam
I know what u mean, but some match ups are absolute trash at equal ground trading. Was playing sivir into draven (I had to first pick cuz no one wanted to trade) and had a nautilus supp who just kept trying to trade into wave with a draven who out boxxed me each time, instead of thinning wave out before we box. Tried to be a bit selfish for him to catch a hint for his horrible trades. He takes it personal and roams doing nothing. I get hard shoved and jg doved. Some supps forget that yes they set the tempo most times, but sometimes you just have to listen to your adc or just wait for the enemy team to fuck up before all-inning

as a master adc this coaching is terrible lol, better watch bizyze than this. Neace really dont know what he is doing, the positioning, the trades, the fights. How can you say is good to go on lux in 4:20 and after the play endend herrondous saying "you did the right thing" lmao, the moment vayne started to hitting ashe he should shift to her, alistar could kill the lux and then finish vayne. He could die there but ended in a 2x1

There’s a few things of neaces coaching I could critique but that’s only because I 1 trick ashe. If he positioned better and focused vayne in that 1st fight she had her easily. Lux might’ve taken the kill afterwards but then ashes support would’ve picked her off following

I main support and would have left lane at 6 if I saw my ADC hitting minions in the middle of an engage that we would have won if the ADC would simply have auto'ed my target.

Zoning and denying CS is an every lane thing.
? ? but it is ? ? in fact, as a bot lane ADC you are the most prone to being punished for breaking that rule since you have the lowest HP and likely less tools to overextend with.
Top laners have sh-t like proxy singed or Sion that can do super gross levels of disrespect vs what any ADC is normally allowed to do. Unless you are maybe a 5/0 kalista or trist right after a successful tower dive you are never allowed to do anything as disrespectful push past minion lines and proxy a wave before it passes tower.
if you wanted to bend/break the rules more ADC is not the role, the critical word to take when playing ADC is discipline. ADC is a horror game where everyone wants to rob you of your pocket money, time and thinks of all the creative ways they can catch you to take it because for some reason you choose to play a champ that is afraid wearing protection or eating enough protean to take a hit
