Neace, your coaching vods have helped me SO much in my macro decision making, like even if I’m picking an extremely unpopular decision, I feel so much more confident in my own decisions being the right ones because I asked myself, “What would Neace be yelling at me for?” And I don’t do that thing! 😂
lmao, just started playing garen top after many years of ADC in silver elo, now im dominating top and everytime I'm thinking about backing I hear Neace yelling in my head that I cant be afraid and get the damn minions in order before backing, lol
I think what happened at the end there is what I call "game fatigue". It was just under a 40 minute game and at that point people's brains start to melt a little bit and they just want to get out so they start making really stupid decisions. Even the lowest rated players understand you need to back and defend your base so it's the only explanation I can think of.
This deserves more recognition... you actually could post this as a YT comunity post on another channel, like a reminder for peeping teemos how easy top lane actually is
Just stopping by to share the Saga of a Newbie. I just got bronze 2, hard fought 34 kill olaf after an inting Darius went afk. Fought it out, won, got bronze 2. Have come a long way since march, long way since 32% wr talon on 350 games played. Long way since demoted to iron 3/4 misery Almost 800 games at 63% wr shyvana, but we made bronze 2 tonight
@abdurrnasir5003 this comment is over a year old. I made it to silver, and at the start of season I did placements went 8/10 and it placed me back in Iron. So I grenaded the account and got banned lol. New account is emerald 2 stuck on upside down LP gains/loses. But I'm happy there
At 7:30 the client was right, had he not gone back for that last auto he would not have gotten the plate. The turret ended up at 3946 hp with the extra auto, without the extra 106 damage from his auto he would not have gotten the plate before the minions switched agro
I’m going thru your Garen series now. Can you explain the importance of forward / backward movement versus side to side movement? I feel like most of my clicks are wastes, inefficient, but I’m not sure what I SHOULD be doing instead.
Man, I have a highlight where I fought for 1 min and 30 sec straight, killed 4 people, and was one AA away from killing the last one(teemo) as Kled. What did my team do during this time? one of them backed, and I'm certain the rest of the stood and watched the fight instead of either pushing or coming to help me.
watching that garen get caged over and over and over again by the yorick was a bit painful, im surprised you dindt tilt for that, because he got himself caught so many times, luckily he was far ahead otherwise it would have been trouble for him. but overall, great video neace. Ive been spamming garen in my games trying to learn basic laning fundamentals, loving the content keep it up.
Wow that ending. Your team being useless, enemy team even worse haha. But things like this happen in eu too, that people refuse to do stuff of value, like baron or pushing. They just keeping fight and doing bad objectives like dragon.
His csing is so rough as a gold player. 13:26 and wtf is with all these garen clients who can never seem to do a basic combo. Auto-q-E with ignite into ult. It's not difficult
Most people play Garen because he’s one of the easiest champs mechanically, so usually they don’t really pay attention to combos or other mechanical stuff.
its why they're gold, they are average players. Once they build some fundamentals and get into the 85%-percentile on average, 90-90 then its plat (plat is 90-97 percentile. Diamond n above is top 3 percent of players on a server. it is what it is. Its consistent but still mistakes.
I hope this is taken constructively, but I think the thing missing from Neace's coaching is explaining the micro/macro concepts behind decisions instead of just telling them what to do and them not knowing why it worked in the grand scheme of the game. He tells the player what to do at any given moment, "this is good, do this, you can kill him" "just E, go ahead" "I don't want to get stuck here" "keep autoing" "get in his face" etc. with little to no explanation, and it's clear that the player doesn't come away with an understanding of why or how to use or not use what he just did for other games and matchups.
@@jorgebell3378 My comment isn't because I personally want Neace to teach me better, I'm just trying to give my thoughts. There's plenty of free coaching on YT.
As a lowly silver Yorick main, by misjudging Garen's wiggle speed. You think you land the E, you wait patiently, but the hitbox is odd. You try to wall him in, but he just slides juuuust out of it. Miss E and W, and try to kill Garen as Yorick. It is difficult. Lane's only easy when Garen gets hit.
@@VioletVile I mean hes not that hard to hit with you're e in his e. I think a bigger issue is that its comet lethality yorick which is a little meme'y which I did not notice at the time of my original comment.
@@kirvesarcheage2235 as a yorick main.. the yorick gameplay was atrocious.. imagine having a garen go in on you under tower and you dont even w.... i cant even.

I don't disagree but the thing is his team was making no decision. They refused to leave there side of the map.
I think he’s talking about the enemy team not the clients team.
No. It's just pure stupidity.

bronze 2 with 800 games is crazy dude. spam mid with your best champ. i got plat 2 with darius mid against all types of ranged opponents.

Nice to see how to play vs a yorick! great work coaching!
Much love! You helped me a ton... started a couple weeks ago!
Garen was my first main when I started league bc he’s easy to play and doesn’t take much experience to play him. Now I’m a otp jax main .

If the student starts hitting his farm in lane he's in a good position.
100% His problems seem to all stem from laning and macro

i cry every time the garen missed easy farm 😥game could have ended ages ago if his team actually pushed baron

I think he does a review of the game afterwards for that by downloading the game in client.

He can’t do that in real time all the time. If he senses they don’t get the concept by the end of the game he usually goes over it later.
how the fuck does a yorick lose lane to garen...
