- The JBL Live Pro 2 is one of my favorite AirPods Pro alternatives in 2022, but the JBL Tour Pro 2 are the latest earbuds from JBL that could also be an alternative for the AirPods Pro. But there is one catch... The price difference between these two earbuds is $100-$150! Is that worth it? That is what I will help you decide in today's comparison video.

Live pro 2 also have white noise but u can adjust it in the app .I'm sure u can do the same with the tour pro 2 as well

OPEA How are they today the Live Pro 2? has that color faded or peeled? PQ I bought one of the same color and I was kind of afraid... are you any specific care?
About the transparency its... customizable. You have to set it to your desired level.
Thanks for sharing that! Forgot to include that in the video! I did messed with that a little bit, and it got a little better but it still had a persistent white noise when I used it. To be fair I may have been missing something or doing something wrong still but that’s just my experience
Brilliant review. How loud do these get and which pair is louder ? I hate earbuds that do not go really loud..sometimes I enjoy the loudness !
Thanks and Great question! I believe the Live Pro 2 was louder by just a bit, might have to do with their 11mm drivers vs the 10mm drivers on the Tour Pro 2 but both got pretty loud, so I often never had them on maximum volume. Hope that helps!
do not buy the tour pro 2 get the live pro 2 they sound better and the battery life is amazing unlike the tour pro 2. the tour pro 2 are jbl's worst earbuds to date

Nice video! But to be honestly, are both of them have any bluetooth connection issue ? I've seen lots of problems with live pro 2. In your case, are both of them working fine?
Thanks! In my use I've never had any significant connection issues. The most I ever had was my live pro 2 went in an out when I was watching something on my MacBook. But that also happens with my airpods pro 2. My assumption is that it's something with my macbooks Bluetooth. Cause I never experience that with any of my other devices. Hope this helps
@@ardentlytech Thank u for reply ! It helps a lot, I also think most problem or issue come from macOS. Anyway I got a pair of live pro 2 yesterday and I think is better than any of earbuds so far even az80(Comfort & battery are first place for me), thanks again!

Is there a significant difference between JBL Live Pro 2 and Tour Pro and do you think Live Pro 2 is sufficient? (except for the smart screen of course
Honestly the difference between them I think comes down to personal preference. I personally dont think I'd pay more for the Tour Pro 2 (unless it was on sale) despite the case being pretty handy. The Live Pro 2 are my fav and use them still today so IMO, they are well more than enough especially if you can get them for $100
I love your videos, you explain things amazingly. You have convinced me to buy the jbl live pro 2 but I don't know if I should get them or the beats fit pro. I found the jbl on sale for 75$ and the beast fit pro refurbished on 99$. Which one would you prefer? Is it good idea to buy refurbished earbuds?
Thank you for the comment! I often get refurbished buds to try them out because of amazon's return policy, they are often really good. I haven't had an issue buying refurbished yet. As for the Live pro 2 vs Beats fit pro, I haven't used the beats fit pros but I have tried the beats studio buds which have a similar design. Personally I enjoy earbuds with stems over earbuds without. So for me I'd choose the live pro 2. But the beats studio buds did sound great and fit better than most stemless earbuds, so I suspect the same from Beats fit pro. I think it'll come down to preference but the Live Pro 2 would be my pick. Hope that helps!
@@ardentlytech At the end I went for the soundcore liberty 4 nc lol, just seemed to have stronger nc which id what I want the most . I am waiting for them to arrive

I was impressed but I did feel like the live pro 2 were just slightly better in NC but I think it may have been because of my foam tips I used on the Live Pro 2. regardless for the price the Liberty 4 NC was really impressive for me!
Do the Live Pro 2 support calls for apps like Teams? I have heard a rumor that they do not work with Teams.
Good question, I dont use teams, but Ive used them with facetime, zoom and discord chat and they've worked well for me. I don't know why they wouldn't work with teams though

They work with teams. I have tried many times. I tried the predecessor (pro+) with teams too and I have not experienced any sound issues or interruptions.

Great question! and a hard one! I would say depending on what price you get them for, the Live Pro 2 can certainly be a better purchase especially when it comes to battery life! I use my Live pro 2 interchangeably with my AirPods Pro 2 nowadays so I'm a big fan of both.

Interesting take! Do you think all apple products always better since they are typically more expensive? Or that foldable phones are better than regular non folding smartphones, since those cost more?
100% get a fold and play a game on it and you'll understand why .. or use in laptop mode on dex!

the jbl tour pro 2 really suck none of the functions worlk the EQ is poor the presets sound muddy no matter what you do you cannot even dial in your own EQ once you hit save on your setting the sound drops drastically. the ANC IS AWFUL it actually makes the buds sound worse and the case i crap i have a feeling that is why the earbuds sound so poorly do not buy till jbl fixes things
