I agree less is more that’s why I try to use only minimum products on my hair shampoo, conditioner, deep conditioner, and since I found Ola Plex then I just twist it up and try to leave it alone until the next wash day💗 and thank you so much!
She ain't lying. I used 3 on Saturday. I have had it for a while. I don't know why I stopped. It seem like every year around thid time, my hair breaks off in the back of my head in clumps. I was using design essentials 2 washes ago. the next thin I knew clumps of hair were falling out. NEVER AGAIN. I am just going back to Olaplex and only using natural oils from the kitchen on my hair and skin.
Hi Martha, you can also look into using green tea as your final rinse after washing your hair, not rinsing it out, since it is a natural DHT blocker. You can do your research, it will be a game changer in your hair regimen.
Thank you for sharing! I noticed that my natural hair started thinning a few years ago and have been trying to find a solution. I will definitely try these products!
My hair, my hair, my hair. Im in my late fifties and my coarse, wiry, strong hair has changed. It seems finer and breaks easily. I have a balder patch on left side of forehead and hair is thinner on top of my head. Ive tried so many different products, head massages. I eat well. Ive recently had blood tests and they found my white blood cells were really low and that I'm anemic. So I've started taking iron tablets. I have seen Olaplex but have never tried it. Can you tell me the brand name of the shampoo and conditioner you used. Last time I washed my hair I decided to use an olive oil shampoo bar. A game changer for my hair. My hair was not dry and crispy. It retained the oils/grease I used in my hair to style. I also boiled the water I used to wash my hair as I live in a hard water area in UK🇬🇧. Thank you for video. It helps seeing someone my age discuss the issues that I'm having. Another issue I'm having led me to the doctor and she listened to me and decided to do a series of tests. Had she not done that I would've have known I was anemic or had low white blood cells. So ladies do go visit the doctor if you start seeing things change before you start treating what's on the outside. Perhaps, you need to first treat what is on the inside. Great video.
Yes, all women need to get their regular check up yearly it’s so important! With your check up it will let the doctor what you are lacking in. I know my iron levels fluctuate always up and down. The conditioner I’m using is thick and full biotin and collagen Shampoo that I am using is thick and full biotin and collagen. Thank you for sharing and thank you for watching.💗
Thank you for sharing. Your hair is beautiful. I’m 57 and have been growing my hair to mid back. It is possible in mid life. BTW, I am relaxed. My hair, for me, thrives while relaxed.☺️ ❤
It won’t hurt to try it. Alopecia is something that’s so prevalent in the black culture, especially with the different hairstyles that we wear and then also too I believe it can be genetic. I’m really not sure if it would help with alopecia I believe that is a whole different ballgame. This product works well if you already have hair in place. it helps to strengthen what you already have if that makes sense💗
Great video. ❤ Redken has something similar which is as good as Olaplex. I have both. Helped along with some vitamins (eg iron, zinc and collagen) I was deficient in. I use peppermint oil and rosemary to combat the itchiness and inflamed scalp I sometimes experience. Docs never linked it to menopause or offered any help whatsoever when it all started over 11 years ago. I'm finally in a good place, regrown all the bald patches and growing longer than I ever did in my youth!🎉🙌🙌❤
Thank you, I have heard about Redken to. Because the lady that I spoke about in this video she was using Redken as well because of the price Olaplex. Yes, I can see that these doctors do not and say do not never bring up menopause whatsoever. That the reason why we have to be proactive about our health. Great that you were able to bring your health back healthy 💗
Omg .I just ran across your channel. I'm 52 and wear my hair natural. Its lately limp and brittle. I'm so glad I saw your message. Your hair is beautiful. I'm going to try your suggestions.
Thanks for this info. I've not tried Olaplex yet, but I will give it a try. Yes, absolutely menopause creates changes in how we need to take care of our hair, and we adjust as necessary!
i’m going to try the olaplex. even though i think my hair loss is hormonal, but i’m not going to give up trying. thank you for a lovely video. your hair looks lovely.
Hello, I have Olaplex 4c shampoo. I use it maybe once every two months. I will try the Olaplex 3. I am dealing with thinning in the top and crown areas. I have been dealing with this since 2015. I went to a dermatologist and she recommended Rogaine but I was not comfortable with it. She did a biopsy. The biopsy showed I have Frontal Fibrosing Alopecia. Frontal Fibrosing Alopecia came from inflammations in the body. I also have done research and some dermatologist says, it could come from using some facial cleaners that touch your hairline. I will still try the Olaplex 3. I have tried almost everything else. I don't believe it will hurt.🙂
I sorry to hear that I had issues with the crown in my hair/head several years ago as well that’s when mines first started flaring up. I tried to Rogaine like I stated in the video, but it really changed the texture of my hair and it made my scalp feel weird so I stop using that. So yes, try to Ola Plex three I feel like you can’t go wrong with it because it will make the bonds on your hair stronger. Thank you 💗
beautiful video, thanks for posting, I'm early premenopausal.. iron, iodine, msm, and taking fenugreek internally with collagen, & ashwagandha, & I take other stuff but these are my staples. its a journey. you look amazing at 58! I'll check out olaplex thnx :) I've sub'd
I’m telling you 😂😂 That stuff is the goat. Been using fora number of years now and it does what it was supposed to do. ❤I wash twice per week on average. I use #3 every 3 washes. I have hair at the age of 65.
Great video. I love olaplex too but it is expensive. When I’m running low on funds, I mix brags amino acids into my conditioner and it works just the same.
Three months. I use No. 0, 3, 4, 4C, 5, 5L, and 8 in my wash routine at different times. Six and nine are for when I blow dry my hair as styling products. My hair has never responded this way. I have learned a lot from CynDoll abt a simplified routine, the science of hair, and not clogging your hair's pores, hair shaft, and follicles. Understanding the science behind hair growth cycles has made a significant difference. I recommend checking her channel out and then researching what she advises for yourself. She is interested in educating not pushing products to make a profit. 😊
I just used it Saturday. I have had it for 2 years. I stopped. But I started again. My hair feels great. I regret stopping. I learned form a Trichologist. She also suggested eating correctly and vitamins. I already had 4 and 5. My fiend gave me 3. I tried it on Sunday. so happy.
My ob gynecologist notice my edges she said it's hormonal issue so I will be having blood work done. That you for this now what's finally slowly working on my edges is the botania oil and Hollywood bar oil serum extra strength. Between those 2 I'm finally seeing some growth. I have been sleeping on olaplex will order and the other products. Thank you for this.
Same, same will try the Olaplex. i have a Sephora agent on speed dial. i totally, understand about the Rogaine, already on thyroid meds don't need something else. Was wondering why you haven't tried the conditioner too. i will use it for myself and my son who is thinning (30s). hopefully my afro will stand back up as well and i'm older than you are little sis. thank you for this video...i'll be listening.
I have been researching and I may try something else from the line. I have learned not to use too many things on my hair. Thank you for sharing and watching 💗
How about my age 69, I just started to lose hair in the front in the past year. I went & got the shots in my head as well, However I had weeks long after effects from them so, I quit. I never did use the Rogaine. I don't want to waste $30 if it may not work. Thanks!
Congrats on ur hair journey & discoveries. Reading the comments, it seems Dermatologist push Rogain They do a biopsy & the results are what we already know. Isn't thinning hair a form of Alopecia? I think it is. I guess we go to a Dermatologist cus their doctors. However, seems like they dont really know. 😒
The same happened to me when I went to the dermatologist for thinning hair loss. He did a scalp biopsy and said I had area alopecia in the crown. He never mention menopause or it could be possible COVID hair loss. I did Rogain for a very short period of time. When I stopped using the Rogain I started taking Geritol and my hair is thriving and has grown a great deal. I still feel like my hair sheds too much. I’m going to take a look at Olaplex to see if it helps with my shedding. I hope you beautiful crown continues to thrive.
I don’t understand why these doctors don’t talk about menopause They act like menopause is not real. Yes I keep hearing good these about Geritol if they have a liquid I would try it. I am not to keen on taking pills💗
Are you anemic? Could the Geritol be effective because your hair loss is linked to low iron? That was a huge thing for me. Hair stopped shedding almost immediately after supplementing. In my case my total iron was OK. But ferritin was in the toilet. You have to ask for ferritin testing.
@@shelleyneu374 no I’ll not anemic. I just had a physical and blood works looks good.. I take the Geritol multivitamin. It supports everything for 50+. I will consult with my doctor on the ferritin test.
Hey Sis.I did like on your video but it would have been nice if you could have gone into detail a little bit more about what the Olympics does and what ingredients are in it?That helps stimulate hair growth. Have a blessed day and thank you.I will read up.❤
🤔I'm so happy ab your hair progress & your discoveries! At my old age, l have found that less is more when dealing with my natural hair.😢

I use Olaplex products for my son and myself. It's great and my hair has never been the same.

Wow 50% off! Has it help do you see a difference?
