Lyrics:
Everything is good
And brown
Oh I'm here again
With a sunshine smile upon my face
My friends
Are close at hand
And all my inhibitions
Have disappeared without a trace
I'm glad
I found
Somebody who I can rely on.
This is the return
Of the space cowboy
Inter-planetary
Good vibe zone
At the speed of Cheeba
We'll go deeper
Maybe I'll have to get high
Just to get by.
Everything is good
And green
Oh, I'm red again
And I don't suppose I'm coming down
I can see clearly now,
High in the sky
A man with psychedelic picture frames
Of happiness to shade
His eyes
He's glad
That the found
Somebody who
He can rely on. - เพลง
"Cowboy Bebop scriptwriter Keiko Nobumoto said in an interview that the song "Space Cowboy" was one of the inspirations for Cowboy Bebop"
Thx Jay
Oh shit nice.
love it
That's awesome! I always think of bebop when I hear this song and always wondered if they were related somehow!!
was curious if it was inspired by this song title or not lol theres def a lot of musical similarities from the show
Seriously?
Excellent music to play in the evening. Jamiroquai never gets old.
See you later space cowboy.
Yes, he does... At the end, we're all getting older. I saw him in concert in 2017. No dancing or jumping. But, man, what a sound! That will never get old.
You´re gonna carry that weight.
Jay Kay the proto gopnik. Music's good,
shame he's a massive wanker.

I am 23 yrs old. I remember my dad playing this song almost every night, driving around while I was in the back just chillin. I loved it and now my daughter will grow up on it too
Me too , this was his favorite .
Your dad must of been a Stoner.

My brother told me about this video n 1995 he like then he put me on
Great music is timeless & will always be passed on generation to generation
Jamiroquai was the soundtrack of the 90s for me.

I remember going to the club with my friends and everyone shouting in joy whenever this song would play. The version I knew had a faster beat though.
Why Jamiroquai are so underrated? All of Their album were great and went platin. They had Guinness World record for most Sold funk album for Travelling without moving. And also got a grammy award. But still they wouldnt take Serious. And even jay said that drop an album when He is inspired for. I think we will never get another album from them :(
We can never have another Jamiroquai album since Toby passed (not to mention Stuart and JK not ever really getting along). We will have to just appreciate that they made the magic they did in the period they were all together. What they offered in that brief block of time is fantastic.
Sure and i think jay looks very old now. But they starting a tour
@Dogan Kaplan he is, at least.

This song is a masterpiece. I am listening this song the whole summer 2023, never gets boring. Sweet acords from synth, dynamic rhytam, fluffy vocal line....great
Their music is only getting better with time.
Exactly. You could hear this playing in any hipster bar or trendy secondhand clothes shop today and it would slap
like fine wine
Just heard it for the first time and I love it
Classic✨
you could say, their music is a stillness in time?
Jamiroquai´s video productions were way ahead of their time
Indeed!!!
WE'RE MAKING IT OUT OF THE MILKY WAY WITH THIS ONE 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
I remember the ad for this album. It said "albums this good don't get released often" Boy was the ad spot on
Another thing, that bass player is a beast..... he is killing it.
woody bostic that bass player is Stuart Zender. He was a teenager when he joined the band. Check out the Club Citta gig from 1993 to see what a child prodigy sounds like....

Too right my man :-)
These guys were doing in the 90’s what a lot of indie musicians are doing now (both in terms of musical and video production)
Yes.
What sound you think them indie bands are trying to create? Imitation is the highest form of flattery.
Man most indie bands either go for that 70's stoner rock sound or some shoegaze mess. There was one I loved but can't think of the band name but no one I know about is cranking out bass lines like this.

You gotta appreciate a music video like this. The style, the personal vision, and the dance moves... This man really feels the music he made, that comes through so clearly.

Jay is surely the funkiest white man to have ever come out of Britain
All Kinds
Check out 'Average White Band' probably best known for the song 'Pick up the pieces'
Those dudes were so funky that they were regularly mistaken for James Browns backing band. Can't get much funkier than that lol

Acid jazz> 90s Rap.
The acid jazz movement had heart in the UK back in the 90s. They were good bands in that london 90s acid jazz era jamiroquai, incognito, brand new heavies. Jamiroquai proved their worth with their musicianship and just their sound with their wicked basslines and awesome piano watery rhodes sound. Big up Jaykay,Stuart Zender and Tobey smith and Derrick McKenzie and just the band in general. I'm so glad they won them awards. A very positive band singing about good things.
They're also a super tight band and their live sounds sounds the same as their album.

R.I.P keyboards man. A true tragedy how no one on the main comments seem to be commenting about it. Specially since he appears at 0:48 and well, we're all basically listening to his peaceful chords on the Rhodes.
I'm glad you wrote that, Man! His name was Toby Smith and without him, there would be no Jamiroquai as Jay himself said. He's severely underrated.

i make Jamiroquai look like a whale with two left feet.
Is he a healer?
he kinda has his own style.
This song is like the 90's version of Candy by Cameo.
His moves are impeccable..teach me!
Joshua Homan alright alright alrightttt :D
I love his moves but dunno if basically calling them a cross between James Brown's and MJ's is that accurate. Get where you're coming from but it's kinda hard to compare anyone's style to a combination of two other people's. A cross like that would make the moves too black for him, he is very fluid for a white dancer but still too kinda jerky (in a good way though, a controlled way we see as his personal style). He also jumps around more, so really I don't know but possibly even an element of a rock star's moves could be thrown in (AK from the RHCP might be right, he's very athletic).
pure talent !
Simply love musicians who can dance, that's why I love Anthony Kiedis in the Red Hot Chili Peppers and I loved Michael Jackson. What would you rather see? A man/woman just standing playing guitar or leaping and dancing around like a pro? Btw, if any of you guys wanna see a funny interview watch the video of Jay talking to Jeremy Clarkson on Top Gear. It's the one where they talk about Jay's cars (he had thirty something at the time!) and he takes part in that driving challenge, where you try to drive round a circuit as fast as you can. You're competing against a bunch of other celebrities to see who can get the fastest lap time. Watch with baited breath to see if he comes in first place or not lol.
My favourite female performers are Gwen Stefani and Linda Perry from Four Non Blondes. Gwen really knows how to own a stage, and she's a real athlete about it. Never seen Linda on stage but she's got great style in their videos. Have to say, while I really can't stand Jeremy Clarkson he is good in the video I mentioned.
Kiedis dancing? Sure if you class spasmodic twitching and jumping that looks like he's having a seizure as dancing hahahaha.
I can only hope everyone else can appreciate this song as much if not more than I do
Love the song but I wish they would have made the video with the original album version of the song. The original version of this song is pure medicine for the soul.
