When I was young, my mum and dad would have this song playing in the car every Saturday afternoon cruising down the motorway. One of my happiest memories of them and of my childhood.
I woke up one morning with the tune of this song in my head but could only remember the ‘so true’ part. Long story short, I’ve finally found this song after 4 months of searching for it. FINALLY!!!!!!

I've never actually watched the middle of this video and almost laughed out loud to see Jay Kay singing under water. I had noticed the skydiving (fan) scene before, but never realized that he was probably using it to dry out his clothes while wearing them! I love the fact that he doesn't take himself too seriously.
My old man loves his cars and saw this video flicking through the music channels years ago. His attempt at pronouncing Jamiroquai came out "Jimmy-Karaoke". Still makes me laugh!
My Mum passed away last August and it’s only listening to Jamiroquai that brings me to life again. Lifts the pain of my grief just for a while. Just the most incredible music ❤
I lost my Mum in May 2024 as well. The pain doesn't go away. You slowly learn to live with it. I am very sorry for your loss. My condolences. Jamiroquai is a legend.

the artist you refer to is a band called "jamiroquai", not one person. jay kay is the lead singer and the "he" you are probably referring to and he is unfortunately a certified bell end which is a shame cos his music is great.
Always enjoyed their videos. They were emotionally fun to watch. "Seven days in sunny June", "Virtual Insanity", "Cloud 9".....list goes on. Of course the music is the driving force, but matched with the videos....epic. And Heidi in the video.....OMG.....seeing her now and then....she hasn't lost her stunning beauty.
The push-jump in the pool is fantastic 1:42 I had to see it twice to see jk seems to be laughing. Multiple take to see the sourroundings and slow mo, and also in sync with the music. Brilliant made and truly original. I didn't see that coming.
